Annie B has found her forever family. Great things have happened for this special girl. Her future includes two sweet little girls and a fur brother who was adopted a few months ago from our rescue. Best wishes, lucky Annie.
I am 11 months old and today I joined rescue! I had to hurry because the new year is right around the corner and I am expecting wonderful things.
My mom was super sad to see me go. She got me to help a friend who was having some problems and needed a companion. But then the friend found out his son has a serious medical condition and he was not able to take me.
So, I then became a permanent resident of a small dog home. It was great! For me, anyway.
I felt like, “If I fit, I sit.” I would sit down right on top of the small dogs! The way I see it is, “Thick Gals Rule” and I ain’t scooting over.
And you should see me run through the house like a thick girl and play chase. I loved that game. Who didn’t like the game? The small dogs. They didn’t want to be chased! Everything I did was fun… at least, fun for me. Let’s just say, when I get going fast, I can make fur fly!
Finally, after a heart-to-heart talk, everyone agreed I needed a home with dogs my own size so I could play.
My mom cried big tears, told me she loved me and that she was doing what she felt was the best for me.
And she was right. At 11 months old, I have puppy energy and I want to play!
I’m going to see Dr. Larsen next week and Dr. Larsen will play with me! And I am going to sit in her lap, all 70 lbs of me.
1/10/23 Update: Annie B. is hanging out in her foster home for a few days. She is waiting for her turn with Doctor Larsen to end her baby-making days.
In the meantime, she enjoys playing with the resident Bulldogs. Annie loves to sort through the toy basket to find just the right one.
Foster Mom appreciates that there haven’t been any potty accidents in the house.
Annie is a sweet, happy girl who will enjoy an active furever family.
1/31/23 Update: This will be my week to meet Dr. Larsen, and she will get me ready to find my furever family. I know she will like me. I love people, dogs, toys and food. You can see in the pictures that I like to snuggle with Fargo for a nap, and I like to watch foster mom cook our dinner. It’s hard to wait! Life is good and I enjoy it all.
