Bacardi (now Carli)

Bacardi (now Carli)

Sweet Girl Bacardi was adopted today. Her name is Carli now. She has a new Mom, Dad, a Fur Sister named Dolly. She will be living in El Paso, Texas. She’s got a Wonderful Family that Loves her already. I Wish the Best of Everything for Carli and her New Family.

Today, I decided to join rescue. It’s been on my mind for a while, but I made the decision: today is the day.

My name is Bacardi and I am 3 years old. I can be a bit shy when you first meet me, but after we get to know one another, we will be best friends.

I lived with several other dogs, and we had no problems whatsoever! We had a lot of fun running and playing.

I had some babies recently and when they moved on to their new families, I decided I was moving on too. I loved being a mom, but not enough to do that again. It was a lot of work and it took a lot of time to make sure they stayed clean and happy.

I will be visiting with Dr Larsen this week and she will be addressing my ears and my wrinkles. I’m also closing up my baby- making business and my sights are set on a fabulous family that will treat me like the queen bee.

6/24/23 Update:  I picked up sweet girl Bacardi yesterday from the vet clinic. She’s small, very sweet and a little shy. She rode great in the car. She’s on meds for few more days. Stay tuned to learn more about sweet Bacardi.

6/26/23 Update:  Bacardi is getting more comfortable and is starting to come out of her shadow. She’s a pretty, sweet girl.

6/30/23 Update:  With this scorching weather, foster girl’s Bacardi’s sunbathing moments are short and sweet. Just like her.

Sweet Bacardi is 3 years old and weighs about 47 pounds. She gets along with the house dogs, but she hasn’t been cat tested. She’s learning to go outside to potty and will use potty pads indoors.

She’s a morning girl. She wakes up happy and loves to play and get attention. She enjoys belly rubs and back scratches.

She is kennel trained, but I don’t let her stay in a kennel very long. She walks great on a leash and rides well in the car.

She’s shy, but will light up when you start talking to her. She’s on meds for a few more days. We will keep you all posted on her progress!

7/5/23 Update:  Let me tell you about this sweet girl Bacardi. She’s about 3 years old and weighs about 47 pounds.

She gets along with the house dogs, but I’m not sure how she would be with cats.  She likes to chew on her toys and bones.  She will go outside to potty, but you have to lead her out most of the time. She will use potty pads indoors.

She loves people. When she’s excited, she will play and jump up on me. She likes to have her belly rubbed.  She sleeps most of the night and is kennel trained. She walks OK on a leash and rides well in the car.  She’s finished with her meds, but still has some ointment to put in her ears.  She enjoys sitting in the sun, but not for long.

I’m sure there’s a loving family who will give Bacardi a perfect furever home.
