5/8/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster momma: Sweet Bandit Valentino is headed to Florida with his wonderful new family: Jay, Leah and fur sister Penny. We know he’ll be endlessly loved, pampered and cherished exactly as the beautiful boy deserves.
His new family is absolutely ecstatic to welcome him home, and while my heart is a little tender saying goodbye, that’s truly the best kind of sadness. As much as I loved having this precious boy in my home, his new family needed him even more.
And that’s exactly why we foster… to help them find the loving homes they were always meant for.
Happy life, sweet Bandit Valentino. Florida is lucky to have you.

2/14/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Love is big this Valentine’s Day season… ![]()
Please welcome our newest sweetheart, Bandit Valentino, who joined rescue today. This freshly turned 2-year-old is as sweet as they come, a true gentle giant.
4/25/26 UPDATE ~ From the foster momma: It’s only been less than 24 hours with Bandit Valentino, and now I completely understand how he got his name… He’s already stolen my heart.
He is truly the best boy: sweet, gentle and already housebroken. He’s settling in so easily. He’s just about ready to have full run of the house, and honestly, he’s earned it.
Bandit Valentino loves being close to me, whether we’re relaxing inside, stepping out to explore the yard (as long as I’m nearby) or just enjoying some quiet time with my hands on him. He soaks up affection like he’s been waiting for it his whole life.
At mealtime, I added some green beans to his kibble. He gave me a little “are you serious?” look at first, but after a moment’s consideration…down they went. This boy definitely enjoys his food!
I have no doubt he’s going to be adopted quickly. Some very lucky family is going to fall in love with him just like I have. And before long, he’ll be off stealing someone else’s heart.
5/2/26 UPDATE ~From the foster momma: What more can you say about a dog who’s just about perfect? Bandit Valentino is a 69-pound bundle of calm, sweetness and charm. He’s so trustworthy and easygoing that I’m getting more attached by the day, so someone better scoop up this handsome boy soon!
Bandit Valentino would thrive in just about any home, whether with a single person, a family with kids or even other dogs. He walks beautifully on a leash, can be left unsupervised without any worries and politely stays off the furniture unless invited.
Simply put, Bandit Valentino is the total package… the kind of dog everyone hopes to find.
