11/16/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From foster momma Kayle: Beau Dacious has left the Bungalow!
Our sweet, stubborn, snack-powered bulldozer packed up his charm and officially headed to his next home!
His new family saw his photo online and said it was uncanny — like their last two Bulldogs had a baby, and that baby was Beau. Once they went through our process, it was crystal clear: he was their dog.
Bruno (formerly Beau Dacious) now has:
• A big sister, Mia the Cane Corso, with just the right boss-dog energy
• Three kids who already adore him
• A mom and dad with enough Bulldog experience and enough love to teach him all the good things
And yes… apparently we do talk about Bruno. 🎶😉
Not everyone made it into today’s picture, but the whole family is all in and completely smitten. They’ve already promised updates, and we couldn’t be happier.

10/27/25 INTRODUCTION: Please welcome Beau Dacious to our rescue family! He writes: I didn’t think 9 a.m. would ever get here! As I sat in the local shelter under the name “Gordo,” I couldn’t help but wonder where my family was. I’m microchipped, so they knew I was there… but no one came. I waited patiently, hoping they’d walk through the door. But they never did.
Then, just when I thought I’d been forgotten, I saw the rescue wagon pull up! Patti told the shelter staff she was there for me! The moment I realized it, I ran down that hallway as fast as my paws could go. If my family didn’t want me, I knew rescue did. ❤️
My adoption fee to leave the shelter was just $30, but once they saw I was already microchipped, it dropped to $15. What a deal, huh? 😄
Now I’m officially free and on my way to the vet for vaccinations, a little “snip-snip” and a much-needed bath (because I’m not exactly smelling fresh and clean today!).
And guess what? Today, I also received a $500 donation to help cover my medical care. I feel like one lucky Bulldog! 🐶💰
My new name is Beau Dacious and I’m 3 years old. I’m ready to start my new life surrounded by love, care and maybe a few extra treats.
