Bellavina

Bellavina

The beautiful Bellavina is on her way to a wonderful new life in the countryside with her amazing mom and dad! This lovely couple drove five hours from Yoakum, Texas, just to meet our sweet girl – and the moment they saw her, they knew she was meant to be part of their family. It was love at first sight! Coincidentally, her new family recently lost a Bulldog who resembled Bellavina so much, they could have been sisters. Happy trails, Bellavina – you’re about to live the good life for the rest of your days!

Her story is a poignant one—after the unexpected passing of her beloved mom, Bellavina was left wondering about her future.

Despite being deeply loved and well cared for in California, circumstances changed suddenly, and her owner’s relatives knew she needed a new home where she could continue to receive the love she’s always known.

They brought Bellavina to Texas, but quickly leaned farm life wasn’t quite her scene. She found the chickens irresistibly intriguing~ so now she’s with us in rescue. She’s settling in and ready for her next adventure.

At 5 years old, Bellavina is a stunning Bulldog with fur as soft as silk. She might be a perfect fit for your family, so send in your application soon.

9/20/24 Update:  Foster girl Bellavina is playful, affectionate and ready to steal your heart!

She’s a toy enthusiast with a zest for zoomies—expect endless fun and laughter as she darts around, chasing her favorite playthings. Once playtime is over, she’s all about napping and recharging for round two of energetic fun. Bellavina is a couch hog….. err…. a couch lover and will happily snuggle up with you, making sure she’s always by your side.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’ll be your new best friend, she may be your girl. She’d be a great fit for a family with kids, an active couple, or a single, energetic individual.

10/4/24 Update:  I stopped by the pumpkin patch for a little photo shoot on my way to the vet.

The past few days have been tough—I haven’t felt well at all. My appetite has been non-existent, and when I did manage to eat or drink, it didn’t stay down. Let’s just say it was a messy situation… on both ends. I knew it was time to see the vet.

The visit went well! I received some medication for nausea and a few cans of bland food to help settle my stomach. I also got a couple of shots—I wasn’t expecting that, but the vet assured me it would help me feel better and keep my food down.

Foster Mom has been searching the house for anything I might have chewed on and swallowed, but so far, we haven’t found anything. I’m not much of a chewer, so fingers crossed I’m in the clear!

If I don’t start feeling better by Monday, I’ll be going back for X-rays. Feeling unwell isn’t my style—I’m ready to pick my next family, one that’s truly “gourd” for me!

11/1/24 Update:   I am back from my visit to see Dr. Larsen and am back in business looking for my next family! Sometime in my past, I got a little too interested in my toys and decided they would be a good snack. Doc was able to remove the remnants from my tummy and I feel so much better! I am 5 years young and I’m a lot of fun. I’m ready to be your new best friend!

11/8/24 Update:  Bellavina is doing great in her foster home and enjoyed a busy week! She celebrated her foster mom’s birthday, received her very own indestructible antlers to chew, and even attended our fun Pizza Paw-ty at Campisi’s in Rockwall! Now, she’s looking out the window, hoping to find her forever family—could it be you?

11/15/24 Update:  Do you need a new personal assistant? Someone to make sure your work is accurate, you are eating properly and that you make it down the stairs OK? Meet Bellavina! She’s better than Siri and a whole lot softer! She’s ready to assist you with whatever the day brings!
