Bess was adopted by a wonderful family who loved her from the first time they saw her on social media.
I joined rescue yesterday and I couldn’t be happier.
My foster mom says that I am “a little darling.” Well, of course I am. She told me that I would soon get to meet the famous Dr. Larsen, sit in her lap and tell her my story.
I was found in a neighborhood, wandering around looking for my lost owners. They must be really lost because they still haven’t been able to find me. I am sorry for them because I am a lovely, lovable girl! My foster brother just couldn’t get over how sweet I am.
I climbed up in my foster mom’s van and slept all the way home. Then I got a new bed and a whole bunch of foster brothers and sisters. They are OK, but I am looking for a home of my own.
Foster Mom said that, after I see Dr. Larsen, I could meet everyone at our Feb. 4 Bulldog Bonanza at Hollywood Feed in Allen. I’m ready to start looking through the approved applications to find a perfect family for me.
1/15/24 Update: When I heard valentine photos, all I heard for valentine CANDY. And there was none.
Let me tell you ~ there were beads, and I did not wear them well.
They were everywhere, except around my neck.
I guess I have never dressed up like a lady because me and the tutu had some trouble. It was the right size, but it just felt weird. My foster mom kept telling me I was such a good girl, and if I wanted a do-over, she would bring me back.
I hope to be invited back, but if I am, I am not dressing up. I will be commando. Well, maybe, I’ll wear just a scarf.
By the time I left, there were beads and tutu pieces scattered everywhere.
So far this thing called rescue is agreeing with me. Except for the valentine photos. I guess I like to keep my diva on the inside.
