Blu Rhino

Blu Rhino

What a whirlwind couple of weeks it has been. I got a great opportunity to join a phenomenal rescue group. Then, the volunteers told me that I was about to enter the next phase of my illustrious career: retirement.

First stop was to visit the incredible Dr. Larsen and staff so they could make sure I would never go back to my previous career.

Second stop was to hang out with my new foster dad and fellow fur companions and recover for a little bit. Although, my foster dad told me not to bother unpacking because my new home was right around the corner.

Third stop was literally right around the corner. My foster dad took me over to Puckett’s Nursery because he wanted to show me something.

That “something” turned out to be Lori, Marcus and Leroy Brown. I looked at them, they looked at me, and I instantly knew that with them is where I needed to be.

Sooooo, I am headed to my new home to join an amazing family. Additionally, they let me know that the name Blu Rhino was being retired as well.

I am now…….. Chunk Norris. Pleased to meet ya.

Bulldog friends, on Wednesday I retired from being a “Ladies Man.”    That’s right I tipped my top hat, told the ladies it was fun while it lasted, but I am out of there! All good things must come to an end, and this next week Dr. Larsen is going to make sure mine is ended.

I have never met a stranger.  I love all people, all dogs, cats are ok, and where I came from there were even some kids. l loved the kids the most.

You can’t tell from my photos, but I am really small. I did not say thin, I said small, as in short with short legs.  I am wide, or the camera added 10 extra pounds! I know a trick too. The next time you see me I am going to show you my trick. I can sit on my rear end and raise my self-up and sit that way for a long time and just look around. I would have shown you today, but it was to hot outside for any sitting on my rear end.  But you will love it when you see it.

Dr. Larsen told me a diet might do me good and help these short legs get around better. I told her I get around just fine and in time I get where I need to be!

So bulldog people, think about me when you think about adding a bulldog to the family. You are certainly going to love what you see.  Blu Rhino age 5, as beautiful as can be!
