Blue Bell

Blue Bell

Blue Bell has been adopted! She writes: Blue Bell here to say goodbye. Just wanted to let y’all know I found my furever home! I packed my bags to live the county life. There will be plenty of room to stretch my paws, if you know what I’m saying. I have a fur sister named Maddie. She is a little shy, but we are going to be best buds. I even get to enjoy some fun in the sun. Good thing I’m already bikini ready! My new Maw and Pops are awesome. They have been patiently waiting for me to go to my last vet check. We got the all-clear to be together forever.

At the age of barely 2 Blue Bell joins rescue. And oh what a great girl Blue Bell is.  Blue Bell was really surprised when she heard her Mom was trying to find her a new home because Blue Bell thought everything was fabulous.  But at the nail salon where her mother worked she had started telling everyone that Blue Bell needed a new home.  In walks Anji for her usual nail appointment and is asked “Would you like my bulldog, I know you have had a bulldog before?”  Well Anji was a huge bulldog lover and previous owner and knew Blue Bell needed a fabulous family that loved bulldogs, not just any family.  Anji wanted Blue Bell to join rescue, get all her vaccinations, have a complete physical, and then find herself a family with kids and hopefully other dogs because Blue Bell loves both.  Anji also lives in a apartment with no yard and Blue Bell is a huge fan of running and jumping and playing outside when the weather is nice.  Anji could have kept Blue Bell but Anji’s heart is for senior bulldogs, ones that are less likely to get adopted. Anji knew that Blue Bell would not enjoy apartment life. Anji bought Blue Bell a bed, new toys, treats, harness and leash, ball, shampoo, and everything for Blue Bell to feel loved and special.  Now all she needs is a family that will love her forever. She really is the sweetest Blue Bell I have ever seen.

5/12/18 Update:  Right now it’s like I’m in basic training. I’m finally learning the basic commands and behaviors. When I entered rescue, I was a ball of energy. Learning “NO” was hard for me at first. I just wanted to jump on you to show you love, that’s all. I have earned my “potty outside badge.” My foster pops was so happy when I learned that one. He has been so patient with me. I was a bad girl yesterday and chewed through a cord to something called a DirecTV power adapter. The look on foster pops face was not good. I felt bad and gave him my “sorry” eyes. He told me we needed to work on my house manners a little more. I love other puppies, children and FOOD! I’m not the perfect puppy, but I could be perfect for you.

5/31/18 Update:  Hi there, everyone. Blue Blue here, ready for my check-in. Lol I am just a playful little lady that has grown to appreciate a couch and backyard. I am an active lil’ puppy that plays nice with others. People say I am beautiful and who am I to disagree. Mornings are my favorite time. We get to go outside and soak up the morning dew. I love playing in the puppy pools! Foster pops puts us on a timer for outside during sun hours. No more than 8 minutes and we have to come inside and cool off. He must love sweeping and mopping with that kind of schedule. Anyways, I am off to take a nap. I’ll see you friendly people later.
