Bronwen Daisy

Bronwen Daisy

11/23/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From foster momma Kim: Bronwen Daisy wasn’t with us long, but somehow she managed to leave the biggest imprint on our hearts.

When her new dad came all the way to Texas to pick her up, I snapped the very first picture of the two of them together… and even then, something in me knew she was headed exactly where she was meant to be.

Still… when she pulled off, it felt like she took a little piece of me with her. I honestly questioned if I could keep fostering. The goodbye was harder than I expected, and the house felt so empty without her little presence.

Then the text came.

After more than 20 hours of traveling in just two days, from Texas all the way to Pennsylvania, her new mom came home from work and sent a message that changed everything.

She said, “Everyone in the home is in bed and sound asleep except these two,” along with a photo of Bronwen Daisy and her new fur brother, Monty.

The two of them were sitting side-by-side, looking up with the sweetest, most innocent faces… like they had been together their whole lives.

My heart cracked open right then.

The next day came the family photos: Bronwen Daisy with her new skin sister, her brother Monty and her mom and dad. Seeing her so loved, so settled, so belonging… suddenly my heart felt whole again. And in that moment, I remembered exactly why we foster. Why we open our homes. Why we let them go.

Bronwen Daisy is home.

Exactly where she was meant to be… with a family who will adore her, care for her and spoil her the way she deserves.

And now, every time I look at that very first picture of her and her dad… I know it was the beginning of her happily-ever-after. 🫶🐶✨

8/9/25 INTRODUCTION: Please welcome Bronwen Daisy to our rescue family! She writes: My mom brought me to rescue with tears in her eyes… and I had a few of my own. She told me she couldn’t remember a time she didn’t love me.

But sometimes, life takes unexpected turns. Her own mom became very ill and needs care every single day. Between that and my growing medical needs, she made the incredibly hard decision to let me go so I could get the help I need.

You see, my skin is in rough shape—it’s itchy, inflamed, and patchy, and this summer heat hasn’t helped one bit. And my eyes… they hurt. Some mornings, they’re so goopy I can barely see.

I’m only 2 years old and on the petite side for a Bulldog—but just the right size for a little lady like me. 💗

Now, I’ve officially joined rescue, and I’m hopeful this is the beginning of a brighter chapter. I may be a little worse for wear right now, but with some love, care, and vet attention, I know I’ll be feeling (and looking) like myself again soon.

10/26/25 UPDATE ~ We’re working to match Bronwen Daisy to the right family for her! From her foster momma: Bronwen Daisy is a spunky little furball of sunshine wrapped in wrinkles and wiggles! 💕

She’s playful, chatty and full of joy… the kind of girl who brings instant smiles to everyone she meets.

Bronwen Daisy LOVES to play and has somehow convinced her normally grumpy foster sister, Lilly, to join in on the fun… even if only for a few short spurts! (We’re calling that a major victory 😂).

She gets the zoomies a couple of times a day and “talks” up a storm when dinner’s being served or when she’s trying to rally the household for playtime.

🧸 Toy queen alert! Because the resident pups aren’t much for toys, Bronwen Daisy has claimed the toy boxes as her own personal playground and she couldn’t be happier about it.

She’s got the cutest little Bulldog wiggle when she walks, and an even cuter one when she greets you at the door. Her tiny kisses will melt your heart. 💋

Bronwen Daisy is still learning that laps are for lounging, not just perching. She’ll climb up for closeness but hasn’t quite figured out how to fully relax yet. That’s OK. Trust takes time, and she’s surrounded by patience, love and gentle reassurance. ❤️
At bedtime, she heads right into her kennel, snuggles in and snoozes soundly (complete with her signature Bulldog snore 😴). She’s a tidy girl who doesn’t get into anything… truly a little lady!

Potty training is a work in progress. She’s not too sure about the doggy door yet, but when nature calls, she lets her foster parents know with the funniest little dance by the back door.

Every day this sweet girl blossoms a little more. Her playful heart, silly antics, and tender spirit are pure joy. We can’t wait to see her find the family she deserves.
