Bowser Alan

Bowser Alan

8/27/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From volunteer Kayle: Bowser Alan has been adopted! 🎉

Bowser Alan didn’t just walk into Mike and Marlene’s house — he paraded in like he’d been waiting for this moment his whole life. His foster dad said it was the most animated he had ever seen him… and that’s how you know: Bowser knew he was home.

Mike and Marlene aren’t new to this — they previously adopted Wycliff, who lived a full, loved life with them. After losing him, they knew their hearts (and sofa space) belonged to another Bulldog. This time, they set their sights on a senior. Why? Because seniors already come with the wisdom, the gratitude and the perfect napping skills.

Bowser Alan sealed the deal instantly, and now he’s busy soaking up the good life with two seasoned adopters who know that sometimes the best love stories come with a few gray hairs. 💕
Congrats, Bowser — foster life is in your rearview mirror. Forever starts now. 🐶👑

Bowser Alan joined rescue through no fault of his own. At 7 years old, Bowser Alan was happily enjoying his senior years when everything suddenly changed.

His beloved home with a spacious backyard was replaced by a smaller apartment, leaving him confused and unsettled. Bowser Alan misses the freedom to run, chase balls, and explore the yard he once had. He’s been pacing a lot, clearly distressed by the shift in his environment.

Bowser Alan is used to having someone by his side—his best friend who took him on walks and spent time with him. It’s been a while since he last visited the vet, and his eyes are in need of attention. He has double cherry eye, and he will certainly feel much better once that’s addressed.

Despite the changes, Bowser Alan remains as sweet as ever. He loves being around other dogs and would thrive with a senior Bulldog lover who can offer him the companionship and care he deserves. Bowser Alan has so much love to give, and we’re hopeful someone will help make his dream of a home come true. He truly deserves it.
