Bruno Mars Barz
11/4/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT.… times two! From Fester’s foster momma: Fester and Bruno Mars Barz just hit the jackpot…. they won the Florida lottery, all the way from Texas! You heard that right. They may look like Bulldogs, but they’re officially Florida Gators now! 🐊
Their wonderful parents, Tracy and Sidney, have loved many Bulldogs over the years, and these two will be no exception. Their love truly knows no bounds… they drove all the way from Tallahassee, Florida, this past weekend to meet and pick up their new boys and start a beautiful new life together. 💕
It was such a heartwarming union to witness — Bulldog butt nubbin wiggles, smiles and slobbery kisses everywhere! Fester and Bruno Mars Barz are beyond blessed with their new parents and are settling into their new home perfectly. Soon, they’ll even be exploring their condo on the beach!
Fester already proved he’s ready for Florida living after his sprinting, flying cannonball into the pool two weekends ago. YIIKES! He’s definitely a water baby! Tracy and Sidney can’t wait to teach him about water safety and his life vest is already waiting.
We can’t wait for the “Florida lifestyle” updates and hope to see the whole family at Bull-O-Ween next year. We’re betting they’ll come dressed as The Beach Boys! Happy tails! 🐾

6/21/25 INTRODUCTION: Bruno Mars Barz has entered the building!
He writes: Last week, a lovely family found me wandering through an unfamiliar neighborhood, just “talking to the moon.” I hopped into their car, hoping for a little kindness—and wow, did I get lucky. They took me to get scanned, and it turns out I did have an owner… but when they contacted her, she said she didn’t want me anymore.
She wasn’t planning to “leave the door open.” I didn’t understand—I was confused and heartbroken. But that sweet lady said I could stay with her and her family for the week until rescue could take me in. I bunked with their resident Bulldog (he wasn’t thrilled to share his turf, but he tolerated me), and I played with their amazing little human. She told me people don’t always do their homework before adopting Bulldog puppies. I liked her. Smart kid. I hope I get one of those in my next home!
The day I left, she gave me hugs and kisses and told me I was perfect “just the way you are.” That made my bum wag so hard it nearly fell off. I was headed off to start my new life in rescue. When I arrived, they said I’d need to chill in a kennel for a bit—turns out I’m a little rambunctious. What can I say? “That’s what I like.” I love to run, bounce, zoom—life is a party, and I’m always the DJ. The vet says I need a little procedure to take care of an undescended… something (hey, I’m not a doctor).
And worst of all, I’ve got a case of heartworms. Ugh. It’s like being “locked out of heaven.” But don’t worry—I’m ready to fight them off and come back stronger than ever.
I’m about 3 years old, full of swagger and sweetness, and I’ve got that “24K magic” ready to share with the right family. So if you’ve got a little room in your life—and maybe even an APT.—get ready to add some “finesse” to your days. Let’s make some music together.
