Buggy
3/7/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster momma: Buggy has left Mays Manor and know lives in Arkansas!
From the moment I picked him up from the Everman shelter, I had a feeling this little guy wouldn’t be with rescue for long. With his young, energetic personality and happy spirit, he was just waiting for the perfect match.
When I spoke with Jose and Michelle, they told me they were looking for a young, spirited pup to keep up with their very playful dog, Angel, and Buggy sounded like the perfect fit! As soon as he was ready, they made the 5-hour drive to come get him. That kind of commitment says everything. ❤️
Off they went, and I have no doubt Angel and Buggy will be best friends in no time. Here’s to new adventures, backyard zoomies and a lifetime of fun in Arkansas!
Happy life, sweet Buggy. You were easy to love.

1/23/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Buggy to our rescue family!
From volunteer Sonia: Buggy and Nami were found wandering the streets by animal services just a few days ago. Nami is about 4 years old and about 35 pounds and Buggy is about 2 and weighs about 45 pounds, so we’re thinking they may be mom and son. They get along well, but don’t appear to be bonded, which means they’ll each be free to find the perfect future they deserve.
Some might feel sorry for them, but honestly? I think these two are incredibly lucky. Judging by their condition, it may have been a blessing that they found us. They were covered in fleas and dirt and are very thin, but despite all that, they’re still here, still hopeful.
They were truly at the right place at the right time. Their stray hold ended just as the rescue wagon rolled in, getting them safe, warm and cared for before the bitter cold weather arrived.
Welcome to your new beginning, Buggy.

1/31/26 UPDATE ~ From the foster momma: Buggy has been in rescue for one week and he has already put on a few pounds! Buggy is all puppy and loves to be with people. Buggy will get his vetting done this week and then his neuter. Do you like puppies and their active playfulness? Buggy just might be for you! He is sweet, gentle and a little shy. He’d be great with a family who can offer him some structure and a little training.
2/7/26 UPDATE ~ From the foster momma: Buggy has discovered that the human bed is a pretty great place to relax. And he’s not wrong! 😄
He’s a fun, gentle and incredibly sweet boy who would do great with an active family that enjoys a little puppy chaos and plenty of shenanigans. Buggy brings the joy, the love and the laughs wherever he goes!
