Bunny & Tootsie became foster sisters and the best of friends. They play together all day every day. Today was the best day of their lives because they were adopted TOGETHER!! They get to live in their forever home as sisters. The sweet couple that adopted them couldn’t have been more excited. They will have the most amazing life and I am just over the moon for all of them. It is a great day!
Please welcome Bunny to rescue! My first seven months have been a whirlwind of activity and change. I started out with one family and stayed with them quite a while. They loved me, had my cherry eye fixed, a small tumor removed off my shoulder and had me spayed. Then all of a sudden, they said I couldn’t live with them any more so they gave me to another nice family. I’m not sure why this happened. Then my second family was told they could not keep me because they were not supposed to have a dog where they were living. Who makes rules like that?
So here I am. The people where I am staying now told me this would only be temporary too! But they said they would find me a family where I could live with them for years and years! I am so excited I can barely wait!
In the meantime, you need to know I am house trained. I have lots of energy (I am a puppy), and I need someone like you to teach me how to walk calmly on a leash. They say it is for my own protection. So are you that family who will let me come and stay with you for years and years? I hope so!
5/27/18 Update: Foster girl Bunny wishes everyone an enjoyable Memorial Day. Thank you to all who served allowing us to be free. We picked up Bunny from Dr. Larsen’s a couple of days ago. She is a beautiful girl and very tall for a 7 month old. Her name fits her bouncy personality! She is full of energy, but also has manners. She is crate trained, potty trained and has a great appetite! She gets along with the other ladies in the house, but hasn’t quite learned boundaries on when to stop annoying the senior. We are working on fine tuning her energy and learning a few boundaries.
6/24/18 update: Bunny says, “Hey, I know you’re busy bidding in our Facebook auction, but you need to know more about me because I still need a furever family!”
From her foster momma: She’s still working on her puppy manners, but we’ve got the potty training done! She loves to run and play, and she’s built for it. She has long legs and a longer snout, so she’s a good breather. She is 9 months old now, and ready for her furever home. Submit your application today and maybe you’ll be matched to her!
7/16/18 Update: We’ve had Bunny for about a week now. She transitioned very easily into our home. She has lots of puppy energy! She is the sweetest girl and gets along so easily with our small kids, dogs and visitors. She is just so excited for every person and animal that she sees. She is crate trained and mostly house trained (a few accidents here and there). She walks so well on a leash and loves to play! I haven’t found a chew toy that she doesn’t love…. or really anything she doesn’t love (including baths)! She usually has her tongue out. She’s such a happy girl and so ready for her forever home!
8/6/18 Update: I got a new foster sister on Friday and haven’t stopped playing with her since. I am so excited to have someone else in the family who likes to play as much as I do. I’m sleeping great in my crate and no potty accidents in the house in a couple of weeks. I LOVE my toys and bones and rarely chew up anything else besides my bones. I’m going to bring my furever family so much love and happiness! There isn’t much that gets me down. I’m just happy-go-lucky all the time!
8/30/18 Update: I am soooo ready to find my furever home! I have an incredible amount of love that I can’t wait to share with my new family. I love to play with kids, dogs and my foster parents too! I love to go on walks, ride in the car and cuddle on the couch. I’m crate trained and house trained with the occasional accident….because I’m still learning. Speaking of learning, I’m ready to learn all kinds of tricks and commands. I love to please my family and I am a smart girl! I’m tall and lean with the cutest underbite you’ve ever seen.
