When Bustaa Rhymes first came to us, he was so eager to love and be loved. He loved being part of our “pack” and was always up for the next adventure.
Over the past few weeks, I really built a bond with him. He was my shadow always wanting to know what I was doing. We don’t know what his past was like and even though he wound up at a shelter, he was still full of joy and just an all-around happy boy.
Bustaa Rhymes will be missed, but we are so happy that he found a home where he will be cherished. He now has a pug brother named Charlie and I know they will have so much fun together.

Welcome Bustaa Rhymes to our rescue family! When Bustaa Rhymes found himself lost just before the holidays, he was confident his family would find him soon. After all, he was relatively young, irresistibly cute, and a
Bulldog! But as the days stretched on, he realized that no one was coming. Still, he remained hopeful, knowing that rescue would step in if no one claimed him.
The moment his stray hold ended, Bustaa burst out of the shelter, excited for 2025 and finding a new family who will adopt him.
Bustaa is house-trained, walks wonderfully on a leash, and loves car rides. However, he does have some vision issues, with cloudy eyes and signs of dry eye, which will need to be addressed. Bustaa also needs to be neutered, but once that’s done, he’ll be ready to find a loving family to call his own. Estimated to be about 3 years old and weighing 67 lbs., he’s pure perfection—and as cute as a Bulldog can be!
3/7/25 Update: Bustaa Rhymes is the sweetest little guy with a big heart! When I picked him up, he was so excited to meet me, showering me with kisses. The first thing I noticed was his eyes—he looks up at you with so much love.
Bustaa is settling in beautifully. We’ve gone on several walks, and he’s fantastic on a leash. He’s quickly learning our routine and catching on fast.
When it was time for bed, he went right into his crate, whined for just a few minutes, then settled in and slept soundly through the night.
He’s also fully potty trained and will sit at the door when he needs to go out. Bustaa gets along well with kids and my male dog.
He’s an absolute joy with his “just happy to be here” attitude, and we adore him.
3/14/25 Update: Bustaa Rhymes continues to thrive in his foster home, and his adorable personality is truly shining through! He’s funny, playful, affectionate, and an absolute love bug.

• 100% potty trained – no accidents here!
• Crate trained and sleeps like a champ through the night.
• Loves car rides – he’s your perfect road trip buddy!
• Always ready for an adventure – he’s great on a leash and loves to explore.
• Lap dog alert! Bustaa Rhymes adores being near his people and will climb into your lap for some serious snuggle time.
• Meal time is a full-on performance – he makes the cutest yelp sound and hops around the kitchen, eagerly waiting for his food (and trust us, there won’t be any crumbs left behind).
• He’s not bothered by loud noises or the vacuum – chill and fearless!
• Loves to play and has endless energy for fun!
• A true gentleman around kids of all ages – no jumping, just love and affection.
• He met the house Guinea pigs and was curious but calm, proving just how adaptable he is.
• Bustaa Rhymes is obedient and listens to commands – pretty impressive for a Bulldog!
• Health-wise, Bustaa Rhymes is in fantastic shape! He’s not overweight, can walk long distances, and even jumps right into the car. He’s currently on eye drops and takes them like a champ.
In short, Bustaa Rhymes is a little ball of joy! He’s low-maintenance and just wants to be with his people. Whether he’s looking up at you with his adorable tongue hanging out or melting your heart with his snuggles, Bustaa Rhymes is truly the best boy.
