Chandler Chloe (now Frankie)

Chandler Chloe (now Frankie)

What can I say? As you may recall, I was adopted by an amazing family, but I just couldn’t get along with my new roommate. Sadly, I had to come back to rescue.

So, at that same time, I started putting my secret master plan into action.

Step 1:   Make sure I go back to my former foster family.

Step 2:   Pretend I never left and act cool.

Step 3:   Blackmail my former foster family into adopting me.

And guess what guys? It worked!

I am now calling myself Frankie and I am a full-time member of the Poile family. I have a dad, a mom and also a furry brother and sister, Buddy and Lola Grace, who also used to be in rescue. We have so much in common and get along great.

Now you can all picture me evil laughing in my furever home after my master plan worked.

Love always,

Frankie

I’m not going to lie… This one broke my heart.

The shelter worker called and said “We’re considering euthanasia because this Bulldog is a genetic nightmare and a medical mess. But she is the sweetest Bulldog ever.”

She went on to say we were the dog’s only hope of being saved and if anyone could save her, it would be us,

And then I saw her pictures.

She was barely able to walk. She obviously had been bred multiple times. And she appeared to be starving to death.

How could I say no?

The sub-humans who chose to breed (and continue to breed) her are the lowest form of life.

There I said it.

I should not have to breathe the same air as they’re breathing.

This little lady never deserved to look, feel or act like this. She has deformed tiny legs with a Bulldog body. Her ears were cropped to look mean and she was made to have litter after litter.

Chandler Chloe has moved in with Tina and we were able to get some photos of Chandler in a dog bed…. Probably the first bed she has ever had.

Tina has been hand feeding her because she in super nervous when it comes to eating. It seems she’s never really had enough food. She’s cautious when it comes to putting her head in a food bowl.

Bless your heart, Chandler Chloe. Not everyone treats animals like you were treated. Today, your new life starts.

11/24/23 Update:   This Thanksgiving, foster girl Chandler Chloe is thankful that she no longer has to live in a crate and now has a warm soft bed, lots of delicious food and lots of people who love and support her.

12/29/23 Update:  Chandler Chloe is keeping warm in her cute jammies. Her New Year’s resolution is to find her very own family.

1/11/24 Update:  Chandler Chloe visited her friends at the vet clinic last week for a small surgery. She is doing great and is ready to find a family of her own.

Chandler is both sweet and sassy. She gets along with the dogs in her foster home.

She is improving with her potty training, but will need her new family to have some patience.

Chandler also LOVES to be held, so this would be big requirement for her next family. It’s so hard to not fall in love with this little nugget.

1/15/24 Update:   Chandler Chloe found the warmest spot in the house. This girl is a giant cuddle bug and would let you carry her around all day. She just loves going in the car and is the most perfect little traveler.

1/25/24 Update:  Guess who has her foster parents wrapped around her little paw? Chandler Chloe does, obviously. Who could say no to this face?

2/9/24 Update:  Chandler Chloe (left) has that “never give up” attitude. She has been trying and trying to join one of the resident Bulldogs in bed, but kept getting rejected…… until now! Persistence pays!

3/5/24 Update:  Foster girl Chandler Chloe had so much fun at the Irish Festival on the weekend. Pretty sure she wants to go every weekend now!

3/19/24 Update:  Chandler Chloe is that “ride or die” kind of dog. All she wants to do is whatever you are doing.

Want someone to sleep in bed with you? Chandler is your girl.

Want to just sit on the couch and snuggle? Chandler is your girl.

Want to go on a road trip? Chandler is your girl.

Want to go for a walk? Chandler is your girl. As long as you put her in a stroller (she isn’t a fan of walking on a leash).

Chandler is just one of those dogs who you can’t help fall in love with. She is the perfect little girl.

6/7/24 Update:  Chandler Chloe is still waiting patiently for her perfect family. She gets along perfectly with the senior residents in her foster home and tries to play with them, but never has any luck. She LOVES going for car rides and just hanging out with her people. She is so tiny you could almost carry her around in your pocket.
