When Laura and Kody arrived, it was love at first sight. They were instantly smitten with Chase Snuggle, and he didn’t waste a moment charming them right back.

6/12/25 INTRODUCTION: Welcome Chase Snuggle to our rescue family! From the foster momma: This sweet little guy hitched a ride in the rescue wagon yesterday and is now safe with us.

Chase Snuggle has always been deeply loved, but his family faced an unexpected hardship when their home flooded. Sadly, they couldn’t keep him in their temporary hotel, and knew he deserved more stability than couch surfing between friends and relatives.

At just 10 months old, Chase Snuggle is a pint-sized Bulldog (only about 18 lbs.!) with a huge personality and an endless supply of energy. He may be tiny, but he’s mighty—and definitely keeps us on our toes!

We’re currently working on potty training and helping him learn to settle down for some quiet time (easier said than done!). If you know me, you know I’ve already made it my mission to get a little more weight on him and help him thrive.

Chase Snuggle is up to date on vaccines and will be ready to start reviewing our approved applications just as soon as he says goodbye to that “lovin’ feeling.” Stay tuned—this little nugget is going to make someone very lucky!

6/21/25 Update from Chase Snuggle’s foster momma: Let’s be honest—Chase Snuggle might be a bit misnamed. Around here, we’ve been calling him Chase Lightning Bolt or Chase the Energizer Bunny… but I digress.

This little guy is smart and full of personality. We’ve been working hard on potty training, and he’s doing great! He goes to the back door and patiently waits for someone to escort him outside. The doggy door? Absolutely not. He refuses to even try it, despite the other dogs demonstrating its magic daily. And don’t even think about him pottying outside without a chaperone—a gentleman needs supervision, apparently.

Chase Snuggle is fantastic with kids and other dogs, though I do wish he’d slow down long enough to live up to his middle name and snuggle on the couch. I believe we’ll get there—eventually.

His favorite game with the resident Bulldogs is what I call “Bowling Ball”—where one dog charges full-speed into the others, trying to knock them down. They love it. My knees and ankles? Not so much.

He’s gained 2 pounds already and will do anything for a treat. He loves toys, shoes, and nibbling on blanket-covered toes. Thankfully, redirection works well—he’s eager to learn and pretty responsive.

Chase Snuggle is curious about the garden and all the plants, but he’s cautious around anything new or weird in the backyard. He’s started to bark at the unusual, but overall, he’s not much of a barker.

Chase Snuggle will be ready to review our approved adoption applications just as soon as he loses “that lovin’ feeling.” Get your apps in now—this spark plug of a pup is going to make his perfect match very, very happy!
