1/17/16 Update: Baby boy Chief has been adopted! His forever mommy picked him yesterday and we couldn’t be happier for Chief. He will be so loved and spoiled by his new family and will have a Bully brother to romp, wrestle and nap with. He hit the jackpot!
Please welcome Chief to the Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue family. He’s an owner surrender and less than a year old. He’ll soon be at Dr. W’s to be neutered and get his cherry eye fixed.
Update from Chief’s foster momma: Sweet, adorable Chief. This boy is all puppy and energy. He may be a Bulldog, but he bounces around like a rabbit sometimes, hopping after his foster siblings in the yard. They don’t know quite what to do with the youngster. Chief is 9 months old and weighs around 40 lbs. He is as sweet and as submissive as they come, with no food or toy aggression, preferring to make his foster family laugh and smile and laugh.
1/3/16 Update: Chief just experienced his first New Year and he was so happy about that! He didn’t know what all the fuss was about. He just noticed that foster mom was home, which meant more snuggles and treats. This growing boy does love to eat. Chief had a great week with his foster siblings, playing and napping. Chief will hit up any foster sib for a play session, even the grumpy one! He’s not picky. We continue to work on our indoor manners and our house training. He is doing very well, but he is still a baby and he has accidents on occasion. You can’t help but smile and laugh with Chief, as he is all lovable puppy!
