Chloe Carol

Chloe Carol

It was a match made in bulldog heaven. Chloe Carol found her forever home today with Carol.

Carol said there were so many signs letting her know that Chloe was the one for her.  First was she wanted her daughter to name her bulldog Chloe, but she didn’t. Second, Chloe’s middle name is Carol,  and Carol is the adopter’s name. Third, Chloe’s mother LOVES the color purple. In fact, she came with a new harness and leash, dog toys, and she wore a purple T-shirt. The harness was too small, but it will be replaced with a larger purple one later today.  Chloe slept on a purple bed at her foster’s home. Carol wanted to adopt a smaller bulldog, one that she could easily lift and put in her bed at night. And she wanted a snuggler.

Adopter Carol was in love with Chloe from the second she met her. Her dog had died in July, and it had left Carol with a broken heart. It took a bit for Carol to love again, but she knew when the time was right, she would adopt a bulldog. Today the time was right, the match was perfect, and Chloe Carol will want for nothing.

From being picked up as a stray wandering around town to finding the perfect family Chloe Carol will never be lost again. She is home!

Sunday was Bulldogs are Beautiful day and I chose that day to join rescue. For a while I had been wandering about town with a friend of mine, but unfortunately, he ran out in the road, and his life was cut short. I was so happy when a really kind lady took me home and kept me until I could join rescue.

My new friend named me Chloe Carol and called me CeeCee. We became fast friends. The only problem was she was in the process of moving and her big dogs did not want me to move with them. As a matter of fact, they sometimes wanted to chew on me like a chew toy. My new friend never let that happen, but she could see it in their eyes that it was a matter of time before I became a snack.

I was more than happy to join rescue. I am a very small bulldog lady. I am in the 30lb. range. My foster Mom says it looks like I might have had some babies, but I really don’t know about that. But I bet if I did they were as cute as I am.

I have something wrong with one eye and most times it looks like I am crying.  I am not, but if I did it would be tears of joy thinking about my future with my new family.

As soon as I am spayed, I will be searching for my new family. And that new family is going to be so surprised when they see me, all 30 pounds of me.
