Chubbs McSquish

Chubbs McSquish

11/1/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT times two! The only thing better than adopting one Bulldog is adopting TWO! And that’s exactly how this happy ending unfolded for Chubbs McSquish and King Henry!

Chubbs McSquish stole his foster momma’s heart from the very first day they met. He’s the sweetest, most laid-back Bulldog she’s ever known. Easy to love, easy to foster and now lucky enough to have found his family. But here’s where the story gets even better!

Joining Chubbs McSquish on his next adventure is none other than King Henry! Chad and Lisa fell in love with BOTH boys the moment they arrived. As it turns out, King Henry and Chubbs McSquish are the same age, nearly the same size and equally well-rounded gentlemen. (And by well-rounded, we mean ROUND!) 😂

These two are about to live the good life, and we have no doubt they’ll want for absolutely nothing. When it was time to head home, both Bulldogs happily loaded up in the truck and never looked back.

Yesterday, two Bulldogs found their forever home, and Chad and Lisa became two of the happiest people around. Now THAT’S what we call a double dose of happily ever after!

Congratulations, Chubbs McSquish and King Henry. We couldn’t be happier for all four of you!

10/11/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Chubbs McSquish to our rescue family.

Chubbs McSquish’s mom and dad never imagined this day would come. They loved Chubbs McSquish with every fiber of their being. Chubbs McSquish was their baby, and saying goodbye was heartbreaking.

When Chubbs McSquish arrived, it took TWO trips to bring all of his belongings inside. There were tears. There were hugs. And there were beds (including raised and travel beds), toys, treats, a fresh bag of dog food and even written information to help Chubbs McSquish’s future family get to know him. These weren’t just things. They were pieces of a life and a family that loved Chubbs McSquish dearly.

But sometimes, life happens. Schedules change and despite everyone’s best intentions, Chubbs McSquish was spending more time at daycare than at home. It was hard on everyone, and Chubbs McSquish’s family made the incredibly difficult decision to put his needs first. Chubbs McSquish deserves a family with more time to spend with him, someone who’s home more often and can make him a bigger part of everyday life.

Chubbs McSquish is almost 3 years old, born January 30, 2024, and weighs 67 pounds. Chubbs McSquish is current on his his vet care and even visited his familiar veterinary clinic this week to say goodbye. He’s the kind of boy who never misses an appointment!

Now, about Chubbs McSquish’s housekeeping opinions. 😂 Chubbs McSquish is NOT a fan of vacuum cleaners, brooms or mops. In Chubbs McSquish’s professional opinion, cleaning is highly overrated. When the housework begins, Chubbs McSquish would prefer to take a walk or relax in his crate until the nonsense is over.

Chubbs McSquish would do best in a home without small children. Chubbs McSquish tends to take on the energy of his family, so if kids are running and screaming through the house, Chubbs McSquish will happily join the party! The kids might eventually settle down, but Chubbs McSquish may have a harder time switching off his excitement.

Chubbs McSquish’s family loved him enough to make a decision that broke their hearts, because sometimes loving a dog means recognizing that he needs something you can no longer give him.

Now it’s our turn to help Chubbs McSquish find a family with the time, attention and love he deserves. Chubbs McSquish’s story isn’t ending here. It’s simply beginning a new chapter.

Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue needs more foster families in the Dallas/Fort Worth area! Our foster families are the heart of our rescue. Without them, we simply couldn’t save as many Bulldogs in need.

While we can adopt to approved families throughout the country, our foster families must live in the DFW area to stay close to our partner veterinarians and participate in public events.

The more foster homes we have, the more Bulldogs we can save. Opening your home to a Bulldog gives that dog a safe place to land and makes room for us to help another one waiting for a second chance.
