Chubs

Chubs found his furever home!

He joins a wonderful former Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue family who adopted Tex a few years back from us. Tex sadly passed away on Thanksgiving Day and the family was thrilled to welcome Chubs into their home.

He seemed to know something big was going to happen yesterday — he started moaning and wanting to go out the front door a half hour before his new family arrived.

Chubs wouldn’t even sit still for a picture, so yes, we ended up with a Chubs’ booty shot — along with a shot earlier in the day while he was lounging in the sun.

This gorgeous 4-year-young hunk came to us yesterday. His family, sadly, had to say goodbye because their grandma was moving in and she’s highly allergic to dogs. Chubs needed to move out and move on.

He came with a perfect bill of health from his vet and his Bulldog papers. This beautiful boy is pure as snow with a little caramel on his ears and bootie. He is a family man and is used to kids and other dogs.

2/21/23 Update:   Say hello to Mr. Chubs and his deep sleep. This charming boy has found a bed and he is not leaving it. Not for treats, not to chase squirrels or explore his new foster home. It’s clear he needed a break from all of the change he’s been through
