And just like that, two pieces of my heart are on their way to Colorado!
It’s one of the best adoptions ever when two Bulldogs, who have been fostered together and loved each other for a while, can also find their family together as a pair.
These two are simply irresistible. Gump’s outgoing personality, always eager to be in the middle of everything, makes him impossible not to adore.
And then there’s Clementine Ruby—her sweet shyness makes you wonder about her life before rescue.
While Gump thrives in the spotlight, Clementine Rudy prefers to stay out of view, making them the perfect pair of polar opposites who found solace in each other.
Eric and Alethia are no strangers to Bulldogs or adoption. Years ago, they drove down to adopt Bandit, who was with them for 12 wonderful years before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Their home felt too quiet without a Bulldog, so when they submitted their application and said, “We’ll take two,” we knew exactly who would be perfect for them.
Wishing them all the love and happiness in the world—here’s to many joyful years of Bulldog companionship! You two truly hit the Bulldog lottery!
Bulldog friends, on Thursday I joined rescue after I found myself at the local animal shelter. And to tell you the truth I don’t know why.
I had just had babies because those stitches were still in, but my family told the shelter people that because of their own health issues they could not take care of me any longer. I think that is strange because I am really no trouble at all.
I am a little shy, and in this new home I am trying to hide from everyone, but I don’t expect to stay long in foster care. I am hoping that my forever family is right around the corner, and I will be everything they have been looking for. I am a bit thick , and let me tell you thick works for me. If I ever trip and fall down I will have some cushion. My name is Clementine Ruby, and I am 3.
