Clover

Clover

Clover came to Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue from a local animal control.  She is hesitant of befriending other dogs but she and her foster sister were acclimated slowly and they are doing well together. She loves belly rubs and booty scratches and she paws your leg to get attention. She just rolls over and bears the belly when you get down to pet her and she loves to be held close and cuddled when she has built her trust with you. She doesn’t jump on furniture and would prefer to sleep outside her crate. She loves to go on walks but most of all she just wants to be close to you and get affection every chance she can. She doesn’t chew on anything…not even bones, but she does like treats. Clover is gaining a little bit of weight since she is able to get regular meals. Her coat is getting shinier and softer by the week.  Clover developed kennel cough soon after we took her from the shelter but is responding well to treatment. She has an infected tail and some very minor skin conditions that we are treating as well. For the most part she is in pretty good shape. We suspect she was a puppy factory, left out in the cold when she was no longer able to produce. She has signs being left in a kennel for extended amounts of time and her breasts and tummy show the signs of a few litters. She is leaving her paw prints on everyone’s heart each day she is with us.

Clover is about 3 years old and will be up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and on heartworm preventative.  Her adoption fee is $500.
