4/12/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster momma: Wendy, once known as Coco Chanel, had officially stepped into her glow-up era!
From the moment she arrived, tail wagging like a tiny tornado, she knew this was the start of something big. Her new person and her big brother had traveled far just to meet her, and Wendy could feel it: this was her place, her people, her adventure.
Sure, she isn’t your “typical” Bulldog—and honestly, she wouldn’t have it any other way. With her unique Bulldog–German Shepherd mix, Wendy has the perfect combo of charm, strength and just a dash of mischief. Different? Yes. Amazing? Absolutely.
And then there’s Stan.
Stan, her wise and playful big brother, is part German Shepherd too… and basically a professional in the art of being awesome.
He took one look at Wendy and knew: this little sister is going places. From zoomies in the yard to secret missions (a.k.a. snack patrol), Stan is ready to show her the ropes and lead her into a world full of fun, learning and unforgettable adventures.
Wendy’s journey is just beginning. And one thing is already clear: she isn’t just going to do well… She is going to be legendary.

3/18/26 UPDATE ~ We’re looking for a perfect family for Coco Chanel Noel! She writes: I was born into Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue when my Bulldog mom, Oreo Noel, showed up there while she was pregnant with me and my littermates. So technically, I arrived fashionably late to the world… but still fabulous.
Once I was old enough, I moved into an amazing foster home. They said they were “giving me the keys to the mansion.” I’m pretty sure they meant that metaphorically, but I’ve taken the role very seriously. Someone has to supervise everything.
There’s also a resident queen here. She must be very important (and possibly very old), because every time I try to wrestle her, she gives me the look. Apparently that means, “Not today, tiny tornado.”
For a while, I pretty much ran the place. But then two more foster dogs arrived, and suddenly I had competition for Foster Dad’s attention. My solution? Simple. I climb up and lay across his shoulder while he’s on the couch. Personal space is clearly a human myth.
This past weekend, Foster Mom made homemade food for all of us. It smelled AMAZING. As Head Kitchen Supervisor, I conducted several thorough inspections… with my nose… and maybe my tongue. They kept saying, “Coco, move!” which I can only assume means, “Excellent work, Coco.”
And yes…. when I say “us Bulldogs,” I include myself. My mom is a Bulldog, but everyone says my dad was a German Shepherd. So basically, I’m the perfect mix of squishy face, zoomies and investigative journalism.
I also mastered the doggy door in record time. In fact, I may currently hold the household speed title. In my defense, sometimes there are squirrels. Sometimes there are leaves. Sometimes there are… suspicious breezes.
Right now, I’m reviewing applications for my family. Requirements include:
• Must love cuddles
• Must appreciate elite-level puppy zoomies
• Must provide nightly treats (non-negotiable)
Every night, Foster Dad opens a jar of freeze-dried hearts, and I’m always first in line. Coincidence? No. Talent.
There’s also a miniature human who visits sometimes. They call her a “granddaughter.” I’m not entirely sure what that means, but she clearly understands the important things in life, like playing and being silly.
Well… I hear the treat jar opening now, and as Head of Snack Security, I must investigate immediately.
With wiggles, zoomies and puppy kisses for my future family,
Coco Chanel Noel out
3/29/26 UPDATE ~ We’re working to match Coco Chanel Noel to the right family for her! She writes: I’m still living my best life at my foster home, but I think it’s finally time I found a family of my very own. Don’t get me wrong… I have fun here with the other pups (especially Honey… we LOVE to play and wrestle), but I’m ready for a home where I don’t have to share all the love… especially with the “queen Bulldog” 👑
A little about me:
I’m a unique mix. My mom is Oreo Noel, a Bulldog, and my dad is a German Shepherd. That basically means I’ve got the best of both worlds: playful energy when it’s time for fun and expert-level snuggling when it’s time to relax.
Weekends are my FAVORITE because I get promoted to official “taste tester” when my foster mom cooks our food. I take my job very seriously… even if that means staying right under her feet at all times 😇
My foster dad is pretty cool too, even if his woodworking tools are loud and a little scary. I stick close by because I know he’s got my back. Plus, he builds awesome things, like stairs to the couch (yes please!) and special food bowls that don’t slide around while I eat.
My top 3 favorite times of day:
🥣 Breakfast
🍽 Dinner
🦴 Bedtime treat time (freeze-dried hearts = OBSESSED)
I’ll be honest… I might try to sneak a few extra treats if no one’s looking. They’re just THAT good.
Oh, and I can’t forget my favorite tiny human: the granddaughter. She’s basically my personal playmate and I adore her.
So… if you’re looking for a cuddly, playful, slightly mischievous girl to fill your home with love (and maybe a little chaos), I’m right here waiting. 💕
