Hello to my new family at Lone Star Bulldog Rescue! My name is Coco Chanel and I’ll be 2 years old in October. I’m rather small for a Bully or as my foster mom says, I’m petite like her. You know what they say though, dynamite comes in small packages. I’m told I’m a really good girl though. My foster family keeps telling me to get off of the couch whenever I jump up there but I really only want to get up close to them and play! I do have a lot of energy and Foster Mom tells me I have a lot of energy and agility for an English Bully girl. I just know I like to stand on my hind legs, prance and jump and chase my toys! Oh, and I love to give you bully ear kisses! Makes my adults laugh like babies n kids. I like my crate too! Sometimes during the day I just go in there and catch myself a quick nap!
I’m taking meds for what they tell me is pyoderma…all I know is my skin Is a little red and itchy. I love to be brushed and scratched. They’ve changed my kibbles and I feel so much better…I especially like my sweet potato cookies and the duck pill pockets aren’t bad either! I’ve been taking my meds like a good little bulldog girl! I don’t know what’s up with my water bowl….I go up and take drinks and it will make gurgling noises at me. Kind of scares me but I keep coming back for more water…tasty stuff!
Did I mention I’m housebroken? My foster family seems to really like that because every time I go outside to ‘take care of business’ they tell me what a good girl I am! I love to play with other dogs and little kids are fun too! My foster mom’s grandkids came over yesterday and I played with them (they’re 2 and 3). I haven’t been spayed yet, those caring for me say I have to get my skin infection all better first then we will do that in 2 ½ more weeks. I love when they put me in the tub and give me a bubble bath. They laughed at me when I sprawled out in the tub of warm water…but what can I say…it felt good to my itchy skin. Speaking of a bath….mom says it’s that time so talk to you later!
I will be ready for my new home soon!! I will spayed, up to date on vaccinations and on a heartworm preventative. My adoption fee is $500.
