Cole Handsome Hann has his forever home with big brother Sarge to play with.
Yesterday Sandy and Sarge came for a meet and greet with Cole. As I knew he would, he stole their hearts, so Cole jumped into Sandy’s car, and they rode off into the sunset to his amazing new life.
Letting them go is always bittersweet. People always ask ”how you can give them up?” But when you meet the adopters it’s so gratifying to see their excitement for their newest family member not to mention there seems to be an endless supply of dogs in need of foster care. The more we can transition to forever homes the more dogs we can help.
It’s impossible to look at Cole Haan and not get mad.
Yet another Bulldog starved to death.
Yet another Bulldog found roaming around town.
No one came forward to claim him at the shelter, likely because they knew there could be charges.
With every rib showing, this severely underweight boy is still so sweet. He has the face of an angel. All he wants is food, a family and to be loved. Not starved, dumped, left to get run over or die.
Welcome, Cole Haan. Today ends your life of misery. Today, your new life begins with people who truly love you. Never again will you weigh just 27 lbs.
2/15/25 Update: A quick update on Cole Hann or should I say Cole Handsome. Cole has settled in at the A5, he loves his fellow pups, kitties and loves to play and share his toys.
Cole’s favorite times of the day are breakfast and dinner followed by play and nap time. Cole is all puppy; he loves to run with his friend tango around the pool and to nap in the sun.
Cole is a a young dog that was found wandering the streets, so we have been working on sit, stay and house training, he will still have a few accidents on the corners of objects and occasionally the kennel, but he is getting much better. Cole is great in his kennel and has learned there are treats involved when he is asked to go in to sleep or when we leave the house.
Cole is just an enjoyable happy bulldog that loves his people and his fur friends.
