6/14/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster momma: Some dogs come into your life and leave paw prints on your heart. Cream Puff did that from day one.
When we first saw her story, she was desperately sick and in need of help. Thanks to the incredible support of rescue, her veterinary team and everyone who prayed for her, she was given a second chance.
What started as fostering quickly turned into something much more. We watched her heal, gain strength, discover toys, learn how wonderful a soft bed can be and finally enjoy all the things every dog deserves. Through it all, she filled our home with love, laughter and her gentle spirit, making it impossible not to fall completely in love with her.
Today, we’re excited to share that Cream Puff is officially home. ❤️
These days, she answers to Weezy and has already claimed her spot in our hearts (and our bed). She keeps the toy box empty, rides in the car like a princess, loves traveling, and somehow even won over Lilly, which may be her greatest accomplishment yet. ❤️ She reminds us every day how resilient and loving Bulldogs can be.
We are so grateful to everyone who donated, prayed, shared her story and cheered her on throughout her recovery. Because of your support, this precious girl got the second chance she deserved.
We are so honored to be the family that gets to love her forever.
Welcome home, Weezy. Your rescue days are over. Forever and always.

3/26/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Cream Puff is in need of hope, healing and a little bit of a miracle.
Last night, she was brought into rescue in heartbreaking condition: weak, underweight, severely anemic, and so sick she could barely lift her head. And yet, 11 days from her initial diagnosis, she is still here… still fighting.
Please keep Cream Puff in your thoughts as she continues this incredibly tough fight. She’s holding on, and we’re all hoping she pulls through.
3/29/26 UPDATE ~ Cream Puff is a sweet Bulldog just under 2 years old who came to us in heartbreaking condition after developing pyometra, a life-threatening infection. She was rushed into emergency surgery and has been hospitalized ever since, fighting for her life.

3/31/26 UPDATE ~ Our sweet girl is still in the hospital, but we’re starting to see some encouraging signs. She’s feeling just a little bit better. And we know that because she’s found her voice. Yes… Cream Puff is starting to bark. ![]()
5/10/26 UPDATE ~ Thank you so much to Fur Angel Blessing Blanketeers for their lovely prayer blanket care package they sent to foster girl Cream Puff.
For those who may not remember Cream Puff’s story, this sweet girl came into rescue in late March in absolutely heartbreaking condition. At not even 2 years old and weighing only 27 pounds, she was critically ill from pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection, and fighting for her life.
When Cream Puff arrived in rescue, she was weak, severely anemic, underweight, and so sick she could barely lift her head. She underwent emergency surgery and remained hospitalized for days receiving around-the-clock care, IV fluids, medications and endless prayers from people who had never even met her.
There were moments of fear and uncertainty, but little by little, Cream Puff began showing us her strength. First she started eating small amounts on her own. Then she got a little brighter. A little sassier. And finally… she found her voice and started barking again. 💕
Today, seeing Cream Puff wrapped in love, comfort and healing feels incredibly emotional. The kindness behind this special blanket means so much, not only to Cream Puff, but to all of us who have been cheering her on through this journey.
Cream Puff’s story is a reminder of what rescue is all about: hope, compassion, second chances and a community of people who rally around dogs when they need it most.
Thank you again to Fur Angel Blessing Blanketeers for surrounding this precious girl with love and prayers as she continues to heal and thrive. She is so very loved.
