Dutton Dallas

Dutton Dallas

For those of us who have lost a dog, we know the loss is heartbreaking. It can take a while for our heart to mend and feel like we can love another dog again.

Megan lost her Bulldog, Vinnie, last year and while she has been an approved adopter for sometime, she wasn’t ready to take the plunge.

That is, until she saw Dutton Dallas online.

And when these two met, you could feel the energy and the zing. It was love at first sight for both of them.

Today, Dutton knew his mama was coming for him and he kept a close eye on her as she signed the adoption agreement. He wanted to make sure she didn’t miss anything. He couldn’t wait to give her hugs and sit with her.

When he got to his new home, he found the toy box and dragged it over to his new mama for play time! He got a mama to call his own.

Congratulations, Megan and Dutton!

Bulldog friends I wish I could talk so I could tell you what a sad, emotional day today was for me and my Mom.

We both knew it was coming but did not realize it was coming so soon. My family called it quits and my Mom now has to work 2 jobs just to keep things going. Giving me to rescue was one of the hardest things she had ever had to do. And she had to do it right before my birthday. That’s right, I am fixing to have a birthday and I will be a year old!

Can you believe I got this gorgeous in a year? My fur feels like silk. I have already been neutered and I have gone to the eye doctor and had both eyes done. I have the energy of a puppy and I LOVE to walk. Only strong people need to apply. I am not a small fella, but I am a perfect size for a male bulldog.

I have never known anything but love. I have always gone to the vet as no expense was spared for me. My mom was the best at making sure I was well taken care of. She is going to be watching me as I begin my new life with a new family. She knows I will find the very best family.

I love car rides, other dogs, bigger kids whom I can’t knock over,  and birthday parties. I love birthday parties with funny hats, balloons and a bulldog cake.

If you love all of the above I know we can be best friends! My name is Dutton Dallas, I am almost a year old so send in your application for me!

4/19/24 Update:  Dutton Dallas has been settling into his foster home this week.  This handsome Hoss is 60 pounds of playful puppy. He is a gentle natured soul who loves everyone in the house both two and four legged alike.

He is strong, and athletic. Sometimes he doesn’t realize how big he is, especially when he’s jumping into your lap, or coming full speed at you to say hello.

He is a dream dog, and would be a wonderful addition to your family.
