When Dino Might got the news there was a family for him, he thought, “Oh, please let it be Greg and Patrick!’
And Dino Might was shocked that it was!
Dino Might knew he had been a challenge in his foster home. He didn’t like his head touched and his ears were also off limits most days. But he needed eye medication in both eyes twice a day.
More than once, Dino and I had to have a “come to Jesus meeting” because he was not having his ears or his eyes medicated.
Other than that, he was perfection ~ super dog friendly, totally potty trained, and a people lover.
In my conversation with Greg and Patrick, I told them he’s going to be a challenge and everything takes two people: one to hold and one to medicate. Challenge met and accepted!
His eyes and ears are no longer a problem. These two fellas have a system now and Dino Might loves the system. They found what worked for Dino Might and that was a nice ear massage first, then applying the medication.
The recently adopted Oliver North (Ollie) now has a new fur brother and Dino Might has an amazing new family who will make sure his every need is met.
It did my heart good to be reminded not everyone gives up when the going gets tough and with time and love, all things are possible. Forever friends ~ Patrick, Greg, Ollie and Dino Might.
At the age of 3, Dino Might was tired of living alone. Not that he didn’t have a family. He did, but most of the time, he was alone. There were two adults who each had a job and a small child who went to daycare.
Dino Might’s days were spent waiting on someone to come home and play with him. But that play time became shorter and shorter and alone time became longer and longer.
Dino Might’s family knew that he deserved a family who will include him in their plans and let him be part of the family things.
Dino Might loves kids and in his former neighborhood, he had all sizes of fur friends. He loved all of them.
Dino Might is potty trained, crate trained and walks great on a leash. He’s hoping for a family who will let him roam the home and not crate him. Dino Might believes he has spent enough time in a crate. He’s ready to be a part of all your activities and promises he will be an amazing addition to any family who loves Bulldogs!
