Dish

Dish

Dish was rolling on the grass when Tony and his daughter Erin arrived to pick him up. When he finally figured out they were here for him, he got all excited to greet them and get in some loves! He’s going to join his new fur sister, Olive, to live the good life and have his happily ever after. Congratulations to the new family!

A woman found Dish roaming the streets. She kept him in her backyard for a few days while she searched for his owner,  but he was very lonely and barked…. a lot. The landlord soon said it was time for him to go. Another nice woman, Debra, took him in for a night until we could scoop him up and get him the care he needs.

Dish is a a little underweight and loves to eat! He’ll do just about anything for a snack. Affection is definitely his love language and the nice folks at the boarding facility sweetly refer to him as “Lovebug.”

I’ll load him up Thursday morning and venture out to meet Dr. Larsen. I just know she’ll adore him and he her. He’ll need her help with his obvious cherry eye and horrible ear infections. Poor guy’s ear is almost closed completely due to chronic, long-term ear infections. Oh, and he’s due for a peach harvest.

This guy landed in the best, most capable hands and will never be abandoned again.

6/8/24 Update:  He is a very sweet boy and active. He would do great in a home with lots of activity~ he needs a buddy for playtime and cuddle time. Message us to learn how to apply.

7/5/24 Update:  Dish made it to his foster home! He is the sweetest little guy who loves to be loved on. We’re working on some manners and crate training, and he is doing great. He loves everyone he meets (including big dogs, little dogs and kids) and is not reactive to livestock. He’d make a great addition to any family!

7/11/24 Update:  I’m dog-friendly, cat-friendly, kid-friendly and even cow-friendly (as long as I remember not to get too close)! I can even load up in the trailer unassisted. I’m down for anything and enjoy simple pleasures. I’m an all around funny guy!

7/25/24 Update:  Dish continues to do well in his foster home, where he is learning some manners and being crate trained.

He loves to be loved on and is even known to roll on his back for a belly rub. He’s slowly learning to interact (play) with his foster siblings and starting to chew on some toys.

He is a very chill guy. Overall, he is great with everyone (dogs, kids, cats, livestock, etc.) and seems to be mostly potty trained. His main hobbies are eating and enjoying his pool time.

Do you have a pool looking for a new four-legged floatie? Here he is patiently waiting for the water to fill his pool so he can lay down in it.

8/22/24 Update:  Dish continues to supervise work at his foster home/ranch. He is such a good boy! He’s crate-trained, potty-trained, dog-friendly, livestock friendly (although he could do without the donkeys). Oh, and he loves water and will make any sized pool work!
