Duke is a 2 year old big lover boy! He enjoys chasing a ball and playing tag. He loves long walks and is great on the leash. He is great with other dogs at the park but does not want them at his house competing for his people. He does NOT like cats. He is great with kids. He is very sweet and gentle but at times does get a bit excited and can knock them over, but completely by accident. When the bully butt gets wiggling, there is no stopping it. He is crate trained and potty trained. He sleeps in the crate at night beautifully and if he is not put in the crate- he will jump on the bed. He is great in the house by himself, but make sure that if he cannot have it- it is not on the floor. If it is on the floor- he sees it as fair game. He also jumps on the couch when he thinks he can get away with it. He is a runner and if the door is left open you will have to chase him at least a block. I think he thinks it’s a fun game to be chased. He will not turn around or listen so you have to be careful he doesn’t get out the door/gate. But if you let him off the leash at the park he is a perfect gentlemen. He is also a bit of a wanderer and will follow his nose if you’re not paying attention. He loves to be the king of his castle and will give a person all the love they can handle if he is getting the same. Duke will be up to date on his vaccinations, neutered and on a heartworm preventative. His adoption fee is $550.
