Eggnog

Eggnog

Egg Nog has been adopted!  I packed my last bag and headed to my furever home with Melissa and Mike. They are my new mom and dad and let me tell you, I am living the dream. There are horses and goats here, and even chickens I can chase. There are dog beds everywhere in my new home too. I also have a new fur brother, Sullivan. He’s a cutie pie too. My foster mom cried when she brought me to my furever home, but I told her, “Don’t cry foster mom. You brought me to this amazing family.”

So I am going to live in luxury in this huge house and enjoy life. Thank you to the rescue for finding me and thank you to the nice people at the vet clinic. Here are pics of me with my new mom, dad and brother, Sullivan.

No words can describe Eggnog, other than “starving to death.” Surrendered to a local shelter at age 5 and weighing 29 lbs, Eggnog seems to be one of the sweetest little Bulldogs I have seen. What a sad thing… to exist and be hungry all the time. Many thanks to our volunteer Darren who picked up Eggnog today at the shelter so she could join rescue. She’ll finally get the help she needs and have the life she deserves. I am really at a loss for words about Eggnog and her condition. Just heartbreaking.

12/4/18 Update:  Hi Egg here. Well today was a happy happy. This nice lady who is a foster mom told me she was gonna take me home.

She said I am heading to her house where I know I will be spoiled. I wanna thank everyone who helped get me to the clinic. Now I am starting a happy new life. Foster mom let me go throughout the house and check things out. I think I am gonna love being here with my foster mom. There are other dogs here also but I’m gonna let them know I am ready to play with them. So I have my foster family and my foster sister and brother. I also heard something about putting some weight on my small body.  I know this is gonna be the best place to be. I wouldn’t stay still long enough for pics. So stay tuned for pics in next few days. This way I can show how sweet I am.

12/12/18 Update:  I want to thank everyone who helped get me to the vet clinic. Now, I am starting a happy new life. I have been with my foster mom and let me tell you: I feel like a queen. My other brothers and sisters are warming up to me pretty well. I keep hearing foster mom say, “Don’t worry ~ I will fatten you up.” She sure knows how to do that and it’s only been a week. I had a few accidents, as foster mom says, but we are working on that. It’s so wonderful to be loved like this. I am still looking for my furever home. If you are looking for a sweet girl who has lots of love, hugs, and kisses to give, I’m your girl. Until my furever home comes, I am gonna stay spoiled and loved with my foster mom. Merry Pawsmas.

1/23/19 Update:  Well hello, it’s me Eggnog.  As you remember when I came into rescue I was starving and under weight. Then this lady became my foster mom. She immediately loved me and told me that we would fatten me up. Well as you can see from the pics I am no longer starving. My foster mom helped me see that I would never have to worry about love and attention again. She sure was right. I love to play and I get along with any dogs. I do love my toys also especially the ones that squeak and sound like plastic crunching. I know I am a ham. I am still looking for my furever home so if you know anyone looking for a special girl, I’m the girl for you. Oh and I love to give hugs and kisses. I will also roll on my back to get belly rubs.
