Ella Victoria

As foster parents, seeing your foster dog fall in love with their new families right before your eyes is the best feeling in the world. And that is exactly what happened today for sweet Ella Victoria.

Ella’s new dads walked in and within one minute, she was all about kisses, snuggles and wrapping them around her little paw.

Ella will now live in Houston with her new family and be the queen of the house.

What can we say about Ella, apart from the fact that she has been perfect from the moment she stepped into her foster home? We have never met a sweeter, more snuggly Bulldog. After speaking with Kent and Landy, who were heartbroken after losing their boy Brutus, we knew Ella was exactly who they needed to help mend their hearts.

We can’t wait to hear about all the adventures they will have.

I have been feeling a little under the weather for a few days and I decided now was the time to make my move to rescue. Turns out, I had an infection and now I am taking antibiotics and feeling so much better.

Dr. Larsen let me sit in her lap and we had a snack together. Dr. Larsen loves cheese and so do I!

I had a great mom who loved me a lot. I spent most of the days in the recliner watching TV. But that was not enough for me.

I want a family who can take me with them wherever they go because I love to go in the car. When you get the car keys, I’m out the door sitting by the car, waiting to go!

I am 2 years old and I love everyone who I meet: dogs, cats, kids, people, everyone. I walk great on a leash and I am potty trained.

I think I have some athletic ability because I can help myself up in a car, turn myself around in the seat and face forward. I am not a backseat driver; I am a front seat GPS.

I know a lot of the servers at the “magic windows” around town. And I love ice cream.

After I’m spayed, I’ll be looking through the approved applications for my perfect forever home. I need to let Santa know where I am moving. I have been such a great girl all my life, he is going to have a lot of gifts for me.

12/16/22 Update:  Hi everyone. I am Ella Victoria. I finished hanging out with my friends at the clinic and am now in my foster home.

I’m not shy at all. I walked in, met the locals and made myself right at home on the couch. I have also let my playful side come out but unlucky for me, the resident bulldogs are either old or sick so they don’t play with me. Foster mom told me one of them might play with me once he knows me better. I really hope so but for now, foster pops gets on the floor with me and we wrestle.

The fosters say I am super sweet. I do love to hug people and also snuggle up with them on the couch and fall asleep right on their lap. I am the perfect heater for this cold weather.

I will continue to settle into my foster home and send more updates soon. I have my stitches out next week and will then be ready to start my search for the perfect family.

1/10/23 Update:  Ella Victoria went on a little outing today and visited a magic window. She really is the sweetest girl and loves everyone she meets. Everyone needs to experience some Ella snuggles. She will spend the whole day snuggling you if you let her.

1/24/23 Update:  Ella Victoria enjoys Saturday morning cartoons with her resident Bulldog friend, Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue alumnus Buddy.
