My name is Elvis Allen and even though I was named after “The King of Rock n Roll” I sure never was treated much like a king. On Sept. 15th I will be 4 years old and can you believe I have never been inside a house? Yep, that’s the truth. I have lived my entire life in the back yard in East Texas with my bulldog brother Buster. Last year I had a heat stroke and almost died and this year I tested positive for heartworms. Could my life have been any worse? But today is a new day and I have a brand new life! I had 1/2 of my heartworm treatment this week and in 4 weeks I will have the second half. And after that I will be neutered and on my way to my brand life with my brand new family! And I am soooo excited about my new life. I am on strict bed rest now but I will be dreaming about my family. Elvis sang about my new family, they will “LOVE ME TENDER” and I can’t wait!
