Fanny Pack

Fanny Pack

10/4/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! Fanny Pack is now enjoying life with her new family.

6/4/25 INTRODUCTION: Please welcome another recent shelter save: Fanny Pack.

From volunteer Kayle: Strut it, girl—Fanny Pack has entered the chat. 🎒

She’s chunky, funky, and making a comeback—just like the accessory she’s named after.
Practical? Yes.
Underrated? Absolutely.
A little overstuffed with who-knows-what? Obviously.

Fanny Pack was picked up as a stray, and the shelter called us in because, well… she’s a project. Double cherry eyes, irritated skin, toenails that scream “I’ve never met a Dremel,” and breathing that sounds like a fax machine in heat. But plot twist: she’s also one of the sweetest girls we’ve ever met.

She gave our volunteer kisses the entire ride, rode like a dream in the car, nailed her leash walk, greeted another dog like a lady, and casually climbed into a crate like she had brunch plans in there. No hesitation. No drama. Just vibes.

She’s about 4 years old and currently tipping the scales at 70 pounds—about 10 pounds heavier than her ideal. But hey, aren’t we all carrying a little extra this year? Her breathing seems to be more about her “overstuffed sausage casing” physique than anything medical, but we’ll let the vet confirm.

We don’t know why no one came looking for her, but their loss is our glittery gain.

Fanny’s about to start her glow-up. We’ll get her eyes fixed, her skin soothed, her nails trimmed, her weight managed—and then we’ll find her the kind of home that sees her for the absolute gem she is.

7/12/25 UPDATE: Fanny Pack needs a family! From her foster momma: Miss Fanny is making herself right at home! She’s already hit it off with her foster brother, Rocky—they’re getting along wonderfully. 🐶💕

While she’s not too impressed with the morning banana treat (we don’t all have the same taste, right?), she’s a champ when it comes to taking her meds—just wrap them in a little cheese, and she’s all in! 😄🧀

We’re so proud of how well she’s adjusting and can’t wait to share more of her journey with you.
