Fergus was reunited with his owner.
Fergus joined rescue today. He was wandering around alone when he came up to a couple having dinner on a restaurant patio. They took him home thinking that they would take him to a shelter. However, a friend of the couple would not hear of Fergus going to a shelter. She took him home with her and called LSBCR. Fergus went to the clinic and did not have a microchip. He got a clean bill of health and will be joining his foster family tomorrow. From there he will begin his search for his new forever home.
11/22/2015 Update: Oh my gosh!! This man….love him! Fergus, aka Gus, Gusgus, The Big Man, The Big Gus, has already made quite the impression at our house. Honestly, I was concerned about introducing him to my bully girls because we are not used to boys. He is so good to them. Lola the doberman also approves! This man is not in a hurry. He is a slow mover and likes to lounge and get rubbed. He knows some tricks and gives high-fives out generously. Fergus would be great as an only child or with siblings.He would probably be best in a home that isn’t super active. He was great with our 9 year old nephew this weekend.
