Flower who I am now calling Mary Jane, came to me in pretty bad shape, a runny nose, skin disease on her feet and tail area, gunk in her eyes. She is about 6 years old and looks like she has been used as a baby factory and was quite thin and depleted. After 2 weeks of meds and lots of love, she has come into her own. She is a very sweet loving dog who has to be at my side when working in the garden. She is house broken but has had a couple of accidents when we were having the bad storms. She is not a big fan of rain, thunder and lightening. She loves to be outdoors and it took her a while to figure out the doggie doors but once she figured it out she has free rein of the house. She gets along with my guy Parker, and he tends to defer to her. One thing about her is she has an aversion to lawn mowers, hair dryers and water hoses. She attacks my lawn mower when she sees me bring it out, so I have to keep her confined on the porch, but she still runs back and forth barking as I mow the lawn. The minute she hears the hair dryer she is there trying to get at the source, its quite funny and of course takes me a few extra minutes to get ready. When watering she loves to go after the water coming out of the hose and we have had some fun playing in the water. She is a sweet, lovable animal who has stolen my heart. She came into my life beaten and battered and she has started to blossom with a lot of TLC. She will make a fine pet for that special person who adopts her. She will be spayed, up to date on vaccinations and on a heartworm preventative. Flower’s adoption fee is $400.
