7/18/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From volunteer Lari: Some dogs need a little extra room. Not just in a home, but in someone’s heart.
Our larger-than-life Bulldog, Freddy Fang, was searching once again for a family who would embrace everything that makes him so special. With his BIG personality, even bigger frame and endless capacity for love, Freddy Fang needed a home that could appreciate him exactly as he is.
Freddy Fang had been adopted twice before, but through no fault of his own, he found himself back in rescue each time. Life circumstances changed, and those families lovingly recognized that Freddy Fang’s needs were more than they could meet. Through it all, Freddy Fang never lost his sweet spirit or hopeful heart. He simply kept waiting for the family who would truly understand him.
And now, we’re thrilled to say that the third time really is the charm!
Freddy Fang found a family that sees him exactly as we do. Not as “too much,” but as absolutely perfect. His new mom and dad are no strangers to rescue. In fact, Freddy Fang is their fifth adopted Bulldog! They understand that a dog his size comes with a few extra accommodations, but they also know that every slobbery kiss, goofy snore, happy wiggle and Bulldog grin is worth it.
From the moment Freddy Fang walked through their door, it was as though he’d always been there. He’s soaking up every cuddle, shadowing his people from room to room and proudly claiming the comfiest spots in the house. On Saturday mornings, he joins his family for breakfast in town, where he’s quickly become the highlight of everyone’s day as admirers stop to say hello and give him a pat. Since Mom and Dad both work from home, Freddy Fang is rarely alone, and he now has a wonderful fur sister who enjoys having him close by.
Most importantly, Freddy Fang finally has what he’s wanted all along… a family to love and one that loves him right back.
To everyone who shared Freddy Fang’s story, cheered him on and believed his perfect family was out there, thank you. Because of your support, Freddy’s next chapter is filled with home-cooked meals, cozy naps, morning outings, unconditional love and the security of knowing he’s finally home for good.

11/7/25 INTRODUCTION: Please welcome Freddy Fang to our rescue family! Freddy Fang is every bit as gentle as he is large. 
He still wonders why no one came looking for him when he was lost and alone, but maybe it was meant to be. When he was found, Freddy Fang was filthy and covered in dirt, with skin that was raw and itchy from all his scratching.
Then came his hero, Kristian, who scooped him up and gave him the spa day of his dreams, a long, soapy bath from head to tail that washed away every bit of grime (and a little sadness, too). 
Next up for Freddy Fang: a vet visit for vaccinations and a quick “snip-snip,” and then he’ll be ready to find a family to love him the way he’s always deserved.

I could go on and on about how special Freddy Fang is… here’s a quick medical update for everyone cheering him on:
👉 Freddy Fang will be heading back to the vet this Friday for another round of bloodwork to be sure his counts are improving. Once those numbers look good, we’ll be able to schedule his neuter appointment. 💪
Everything else? Just as perfect as he is! ✨
As you may remember, when Freddy Fang was first found, he was covered in blood and likely had lost quite a bit. But true to his name, Freddy Fang soldiered on in classic Freddy Fang fashion. His heart is every bit as big as his head, and he’s clearly decided that brighter days (and his next family) are ahead! 💖
