Gigi Heartbreak (now Luna)

Gigi Heartbreak (now Luna)

11/1/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! When we first introduced Gigi Heartbreak in September, we knew this gentle, sunshine-loving girl would capture hearts. It didn’t take long for her to find the perfect home and now she’s living her very best life as Luna, the queen of the castle! 👑

From the moment she arrived, Luna claimed the comfiest spots, ruled her kingdom with sweetness and quickly wrapped her foster family around her paw.

She’s mastered the art of relaxation, enjoys her royal snacks (we hear cheeseballs are still on the menu 🧀), and soaks up every bit of love and attention she deserves.

Her new family says Luna has truly taken over the throne and they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Happy forever, Luna. Your sunshine days have just begun!

9/20/25 INTRODUCTION: Please welcome Gigi Heartbreak to our rescue family!

At 3 years old, Gigi Heartbreak has found her way to rescue. Her previous family loved her very much, but they realized that she was spending too much time alone and in a crate. They made the difficult decision to let her go so she could find a home where she’d get more time, attention and love.

Gigi Heartbreak’s human sister even wrote a letter to the family lucky enough to adopt her.

She shared: Gigi LOVES food. Her favorite snack is cheeseballs! Her favorite thing to do is sleep and get butt scratches. She loves to sunbathe and feel the warmth, but not to exercise. She’s not really into that. Gigi is calm, sweet, and if you’re cooking, she’ll come sit by the stove and quietly watch you. Please take really good care of Gigi. She loves to smile, and if she smiles at you, you’ll know she loves you. Please love her like I did.

Gigi Heartbreak is a gentle soul who thrives on love, snacks, sunshine and being part of your daily routine. She’s not high energy. Just a laid-back girl looking for a home where she can relax, be loved and give lots of love in return.

Could Gigi Heartbreak be your sunshine?

10/17/25 UPDATE from foster girl Gigi Heartbreak: Well, my friends, life in foster care just keeps getting better! My foster family has officially crowned me Queen of the Castle (sorry, resident Bulldog, your title has been revoked!). Feeling extra special and loved has been a royal treat.

I’m still coming out of my shell and starting to join in on all the fun “royal activities” around here. And guess what? Not a single accident since that one little sick day. Regal AND well-mannered, if I do say so myself!

Let’s talk about the essentials: mealtime and treat time. I never miss either. Foster dad spoils me with three bedtime treats every night, and I make sure I’m in bed on time, just like a punctual queen should be. 👑

I also get my daily walks and truck rides, which I absolutely love! My foster parents keep saying I won’t be here much longer… they’re convinced I’ll find my family soon! (Squee!!)

But, I do have a tiny complaint. Foster dad is an early riser. Like, way before the sun comes up! Excuse me, but as royalty, I should be able to sleep in as long as I please. But alas, I humor him… most of the time.

And shout-out to foster mom for making the most delicious freeze-dried heart treats! Seriously, someone should start selling them.

Even though this castle is just a temporary stop on my journey, the love I’ve received here will stay with me forever. 💖

Until next time, my loyal subjects… This Queen is signing off. Perhaps the next letter I write will be my adoption announcement, where I’ll be greeting my kingdom. 💌
