Gina Lynn

Gina Lynn

10/29/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From volunteer Carrie: When little Gina Lynn entered our rescue, she was in heartbreaking condition. Her tiny body was covered in scabs, and she had lost much of her hair due to fleas and infection. But despite how sickly she looked, this girl was bursting with spirit!

Gina Lynn may have been small, but her personality was mighty: full of sass, resilience and a spark that refused to fade.

Today, she’s known as Freya, and her story has taken a beautiful turn. She’s now in the loving care of the Fontaine family, proud repeat adopters of our rescue. Under their gentle hands and big hearts, Freya will continue to heal and flourish.

She’s already surrounded by so much love and has joined her fur siblings Thor, Loki and Athena, making this truly a divine family union. 🐾✨

Welcome home, sweet Freya. Your goddess era begins now. 💕

10/23/25 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Gina Lynn to our rescue family.

From volunteer Dianne: She only weighs 20 pounds, and she’s the kind of Bulldog who takes your breath away.

Adopted from one Texas shelter just a few months ago… and then already dumped at another.

Yesterday, she was saved for real this time. She entered our rescue program broken, bleeding and covered in sores. She tested negative for everything except fleas, and she’s been eaten alive by them. When she rolls onto her back, she leaves blood on the floor. She scratches like she’s on fire.

She’s likely not even a year old. A baby. She never deserved this… to live in pain, to itch and bleed while people saw her and looked the other way.

But she matters. She matters most to us… to those of us in rescue, to the people who will make sure she never suffers another day.

Today, I’m angry. Angry at the ones who failed her, ignored her, abandoned her.

But today is also your day, Gina Lynn. We are celebrating your freedom. No more pain. No more neglect. Only love from here on out. ❤️🐾
