3/18/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT times two! From Ginrummy: I’ve been waiting for the perfect sister… and yesterday, my wish finally came true! 💕
When I met Adeline Sunday Grace, I just knew: instant best-friend status. We even look like twins! 👯♀️ Of course, I had to show her the ropes right away, starting with our matching cozy booster seats for a big road trip from Texas to Louisiana.
I could tell she was a little unsure at first, but I made sure she knew she wasn’t alone anymore. By the time we arrived at our new home, we were already inseparable.
Then came the best part: we met our new mom and dad. I think she was a little nervous, but one look at them and… yep, love at first sight. I knew they were our people all along.
Next, we got the grand tour. Our new yard? Huge. The grass? Soft and perfect for zoomies.
To everyone at Lone Star Bulldog Club Rescue, thank you for bringing my sister and my new family to me. I’m excited about our future together!

1/31/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Ginrummy to our rescue family!
She writes: Before the sun even came up today, I climbed into the rescue wagon and began my journey to rescue. I’ll admit I was nervous. I wondered if the people waiting for me would love me when I arrived. But I was hopeful too, because this felt like the start of something new.
For much of my life, I was a momma. Then one day, I found myself alone, picked up in town after running loose. I spent several days in the shelter, quietly wondering if anyone would miss me or come looking for me. No one did. And while that hurt, it also opened the door to a new beginning.
When I started feeling sick, the shelter staff didn’t hesitate. They took me to the vet, where I learned I had pyometra, a serious infection that could have taken my life if it hadn’t been treated right away. I was spayed, cared for and given a second chance. That scary chapter is now behind me.
Today, I’m healthy, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative and ready to move forward. I don’t plan on getting lost again, but if I ever do, everyone will know exactly who I belong to.
Despite everything, my heart is wide open. I’m 3 years old and love other dogs and people of all sizes, and if laps were unlimited, I’d happily sit in them all day. I weigh about 45 pounds, enjoy playing in the yard and treasure quiet moments spent close to my friends.
Now I’m patiently reviewing the approved applications for a family who will welcome me home and love me forever. Thank you for seeing me, for caring and for being part of my rescue story. I can’t wait to meet my next family.
With hope and love,
Ginrummy ♡
