An owner surrender, meet 2-year-old, 46 pound Grace. Please stay tuned to learn more about her.
12/13 Update: Miss Gracie is so brave. It has been a big week for this young lady. We are watching her transform everyday, as her personality comes out. She has finally accepted an invitation into the kitchen. She was scared to go past the door until this morning. She had been hanging out in the entryway and dining room. She is playing more and more each day with her foster sis…ters. She is the most precious thing. She has no aggression whatsoever. She goes potty outside with her sisters, but she is peeing in her crate. We got good advice from a fellow foster and are beginning work toward breaking this habit. Even though she does, at times, show fear and goes into her crate, she is very excited when company come over and greets them enthusiastically. Gracie will be a sweet, gentle love for any family that is willing to be gentle with her. She is still on antibiotics, steroids and eye drops. She is the easiest dog I have ever had to give eye drops. She just sits there and lets me wipe her eyes and put the drops in with no fuss at all. She will get another medicated bath tonight. She gets a bath every 2 days until her skin is better. After she is spayed (possibly next week) and is cleared by Dr. W, she will be ready for her forever home. If you want a gentle soul to love, keep following Grace’s story.ters. She is the most precious thing. She has no aggression whatsoever. 12/28/15 Update: Amazing Grace had a good Christmas week and a scary night hiding from the tornado. Fortunately, the storms missed us by only a couple of miles. Grace has been praying for all the families around us that lost their homes and their pets. She has been helping foster mommy post lost pets on Facebook.
1/3/16 Update: Hey everyone. Grace Ann Bulldog here for my weekly update. Say a prayer for me. I go to Dr. W in the morning to get spayed. I am not scared. Dr. W and the nice nurses are so kind to me. I know it will be a piece of cake….mmmm did someone say cake? Oh, sorry. I digress. I had a great week. I just enjoy getting loved on so much. I am such a gentle girl. I use my foster sister, Mazie, as a pillow quite often. Her fluffy bully butt makes for a perfect resting place. I did some sun bathing this morning. It was great!!! I love getting a bath. I just lay there and give foster momma my paws to clean. I love the attention and warm water. Well, that’s it. I am just soaking up this foster life. Can’t wait to find my forever home and be a princess forever and ever. Have a good week, everybully. Love, Grace Ann
