9/30/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster momma: Angela and Greg have been patiently waiting to welcome another Bulldog into their lives after the heartbreaking loss of their beloved pup earlier this year.
Before that, they’d never owned a Bulldog… until one showed up as a stray on their porch and stole their hearts. Like so many of us know, it only takes one Bulldog to turn you into a Bulldog parent for life!
Angela and Greg were matched with sweet Gremlin just before heading off on vacation. Even while enjoying their time away, they couldn’t stop thinking about the new addition waiting for them at home. When Saturday finally arrived, they loaded up their pup Dolly and hit the road to meet Gremlin.
From the moment Gremlin stepped outside and met Dolly, it was clear: they were instant friends. Gremlin has always wanted a playmate, but until now, she’d been living in a house full of pups who weren’t interested in her fun-loving spirit. Finally, she found her match!
Angela and Greg fell in love with Gremlin at first sight, instantly recognizing the sweet, affectionate soul she is. She happily hopped into their car, ready to begin her next adventure. But her welcome home came with an extra surprise—another fur sister, Jolene, was waiting to meet her!
Now known as Junie B. this happy girl has found her family, complete with new parents, two sisters to play with, and a home full of love.
Welcome home, Junie B. You truly hit the jackpot!

6/27/25 INTRODUCTION: Welcome Gremlin to our rescue family! Gremlin’s story is heartbreaking—but it’s also just beginning.
She came to us as part of a cruelty case. The photos say it all—she was severely starved and neglected. We don’t know many of the details, but we know enough: Gremlin suffered, and she deserves so much better.
Thankfully, animal services was able to house her while the case went to court. Now, she’s finally safe and on the road to recovery.
In photos, Gremlin might look tall—but that’s just the small crate playing tricks on your eyes. She’s actually a compact gal with a giant heart. At less than 2 years old, she’s as sweet as they come, loving every person she meets. What she wants now is simple: a family to love her and a fresh start.
8/27/25 UPDATE: From the foster momma: Gremlin has officially graduated from the vet clinic and landed herself a spot at Mays Manor!
If you don’t remember her story, Gremlin came to us as part of a cruelty case: emaciated, neglected and in need of serious TLC.
But just look at her now! After a few months of healing, this resilient little girl is finally starting to shine. 
Gremlin is still young and a bit shy, but her personality is beginning to peek through. And trust us, there’s a lot of sparkle waiting to blossom.
We’re so proud of how far she’s come, and we can’t wait to see the full Gremlin glow-up and eventually in the loving home she deserves.
