Through a special partnership with Adopt-A-Bull Underdogs, we’ve been able to get six of our long-term foster dogs moving and grooving north! The Montana-based rescue group agreed to help us place Charlie Bob, Coco Mellon, Jax Preston, Olivia Lynn, Greta Leigh and Lentil. We weren’t having much luck finding them suitable families because all of them needed homes without other dogs. Please send your love and gratitude to Adopt-A-Bull Underdogs. We’re so grateful that we could team up for this “Six Pack of Paws!”
Can you believe I sat in the shelter for seven days waiting for my family to come pick me up? Surely someone missed me.
I learned my way around the shelter quickly and I soon became a favorite there. However, they told me not to get too comfortable because the shelter was at capacity and I had to go.
Well, where was I supposed to go? I had been staying behind the counter, assisting people when they came in the shelter. I thought I had a job there.
More than one family tried to take me home. They did not look like Bulldog people, so I just stayed behind the counter.
One man told me I was too fat and he would make sure I trimmed down. That was a big red flag. If I could make it walking around town in August carrying these 50 pounds, I know I’m a perfect size. Anyway, he adopted a cat. Go figure.
Finally, I decided working at the shelter was too stressful and I told them to call a Bulldog rescue. Rescue would know all about my breed and they would help me find a perfect family.
So, today, I jumped in the rescue wagon and I was gone.
Dr. Larsen was shocked I hung off the sides of her lap. I was not shocked. I just told her to grow a bigger lap. I need this weight in case someone tries to kidnap me. They will think twice when they start to lift this beauty right here!
I named myself Greta after Greta Garbo, one of the most beautiful women who ever lived. She and I have a lot in common!
Dr. Larsen thinks I am around 4-5 years old. I really don’t know ~ all I know is I am beautiful inside and out!
