Harry Styles

Happy Harry was indeed home for Christmas!

On December 21, his potential adopters, Tooba and her sister Rida, flew from Chicago, rented a car and drove the 1.5 hours to my house to meet Harry.

Tooba and Rida fell in love instantly with “Happy Harry Wigglesworth” (of course!) so his journey back to The Windy City began. It was a two-day road trip and everyone made it safely… just in time for Christmas!

Harry will be an only child for a while, but Rida wants a cat and we know Harry will be down for that. He loved my cats! I’m so glad Harry will have a wonderful life with these sisters.

Bulldog friends, it was about time someone came and sprung me from the local shelter.

I have been sitting and waiting in the shelter for a long time. Everyone kept saying they thought someone was going to come looking for me, but they never did! I was so excited this morning when a lady named Wendy showed up and told the shelter she had come for me.  Ms. Wendy lifted me up and put me in her truck and off we rode to her ranch.

All the way their Ms. Wendy kept saying you sure do not smell like roses. I kept wondering what that meant. But once we got to her house and she put me in the bathtub it became apparent she meant I smelled bad.  Well, I loved the bath and the blow dry. And then I found a bed and I thought I am sure going to love it here!

Ms. Wendy read my paperwork and she told me I was heartworm positive and that she was really sorry about that. She told me the treatment was painful. I gave her my tough bulldog face so she would know I was not scared. I am scared though.  I hate pain.

The shelter thinks I am around 5 years old, and they said I was as sweet as could be. So keep me in your thought and before long I will be looking thru the applications for a perfect family just for me.

11/24/23 Update:  I do want to introduce Harry Stiles AKA Mr. Happy Harry Styles Wigglesworth!!

Wigglesworth describes Harry to a “T”, he is the happiest easiest going guy, not to mention handsome as they come! Harry was in a local shelter and no one came to claim him so he came to the rescue. Harry had a check up with Dr Larson, was neutered and was also found to be Heartworm positive but treatment and restriction are now over and he is free to play with all his friends here at the A5.

Harry is very good with all his friends, this guy is so respectful, gets along with all the other critters around here, is great in his crate, doesn’t steal anyone’s food at meal time, no food or toy aggression, house trained, he is just an all around great guy!! The only watch out is he is nervous around men he doesn’t know, just very shy and scared but after he gets to know them he is all wiggles again. Oh and he loves to irrigate my outside furniture if you know what I mean, but we are working on that. Well TTFN, everyone have a great Thanksgiving! Gobble till you Wobble.
