4/12/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster momma: Honey Muffin didn’t plan on finding her new family that day… but the universe clearly had other ideas.
It started as a simple outing: a bittersweet send-off for her foster sister, Coco Chanel Noel. (They had been constant companions since they arrived at their foster home) Honey Muffin was ready to wag goodbye, maybe soak up a few extra belly rubs and call it a day. But then (plot twist!), she spotted another dog.
A Beagle.
Honey Muffin had never seen one before, and she was instantly obsessed. Tail wagging at top speed, she trotted over like, “HELLO, NEW BEST FRIEND!” And just like that, she was nose-to-nose with Boomer, diving into the most important introduction of her life.
Now, here’s the funny part: Boomer’s family wasn’t there for Honey Muffin at all. They had come to meet other Bulldogs. But Honey Muffin? Oh, she had other plans. With her irresistible charm, playful spirit and “pick me!” energy, she won them over in record time. They let her play, they let her shine… and somewhere between zoomies and sniffs, something clicked.
The stars aligned. The moment sparked. Everyone felt it.
Boomer had chosen his sister.
And Honey Muffin had found her people.
Long story short? That “accidental” meeting turned into the happiest ending ever. Honey Muffin is now living her best life in the most perfect home, with her very own Beagle brother by her side and a future full of adventures, cuddles and tail-wagging joy.

2/28/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Honey Muffin to our rescue family! Honey Muffin wasn’t sad the day the local animal services officers picked her up. She had been wandering for so long, hungry and alone, that even the rumble of the truck felt like rescue. Every rib showed beneath her thin coat, and for the first time in weeks, she dared to hope when they placed a bowl of food in front of her.
Shelter life, to Honey Muffin’s surprise, felt like a gift. Three meals a day. A warm cot to sleep on. Gentle hands and kind voices offering attention she hadn’t known she was missing. When she left, she weighed 31 pounds, still too thin, but so much stronger than the fragile dog she had been when she first arrived.
Her ears bore the marks of a homemade crop, uneven and permanent reminders of her past. Sometimes she wondered why she looked different. She had heard that Bulldogs were supposed to have ears like everyone else. Still, despite the mirror’s quiet questions, her spirit remained unbroken.
Today marks the first day of the rest of Honey Muffin’s life. She is stepping into a new beginning, one filled with promise, safety and a family who will make sure she is never hungry, never lost and never alone again.
But there are so many more dogs just like Honey Muffin still waiting for their second chance. We are urgently in need of more foster families in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. 4/3/26 UPDATE ~ From foster girl Honey Muffin: Let me just start by saying… I am the cutest, cuddliest, most playful Bulldog on earth. (Yes, I said it. 😌)
Right now I’m living in my foster home… and wow, it’s basically a mansion! There’s even this magical thing called a doggy door that lets me patrol the house AND the yard whenever I want. I take my security duties very seriously. Nothing gets past me!
There are a couple of other foster dogs here, but I know I must be the favorite 😉 There’s also a resident Bulldog who’s kind of old and a little cranky. She definitely thinks she’s the boss. And honestly? She might be. But she’s pretty boring if you ask me. All she does is eat and sleep!
Now weekends? Those are the BEST. That’s when my foster mom makes all the food and treats, and oh boy… I LOVE treats. Maybe a little too much, because I do get caught trying to sneak everyone else’s at night
Sundays are for relaxing. I cuddle up with my foster dad and watch cars go in circles for hours (he calls it racing… I call it nap time). I don’t really get it, but I do love being right next to him.
And guess what? I’ve officially made it to the big leagues… I get to sleep in the big bed now! It is SO comfy. I must be doing something right
Oh! And there’s this tiny human they call a granddaughter. I’m not totally sure what that means, but she’s like a mini playmate who comes over a lot. She gives me the zoomies, and I’m pretty sure I’m faster than she is 😄
Well, I’ve gotta run… I smell food being made, and my supervision is required!
If you’re looking for a small Bulldog who will love you more than anything in the world, I might be your girl 💕 But if you pass, don’t worry. I’ve got amazing foster parents who love me very much and they’ll hold on to me until that perfect family finds me.
