Meet Isabella! This sweet brindle bully carries a small frame, weighing in at about 40 pounds. Though her exact age is unknown, LSBCR picked her up from a local shelter.
Medically, Isabella is in good shape. She is presently on antibiotics to help her recover from her recent spaying. She also requires occasional eye drops and ointment to help with her dry eyes. Aside from these minor issues, she is healthy as can be!
Isabella has a wonderful temperament – enthusiastic around people, lazy at all the right moments, and good in a crate. She sometimes jumps out of exuberance and love for all things human, so a home with small children may not be ideal. She is house trained, and her foster dad reports that she does very well in a crate, yet loves the companionship of her owner. Good on a leash, good with toys (especially stuffed animals), and good with cuddling, this little lady is also described as affectionate. She is so easy to handle that her foster dad recommends her for first-time bully owners.
Her demeanor around cats has yet to be tested. Around larger dogs, she does great. With smaller dogs, she likes to be in charge; for this reason, a home with smaller dogs probably wouldn’t be ideal.
To take the words straight from her foster dad, Isabella is “so very kind and sweet!” Need I say more?
Isabella is spayed, current on all vaccinations and will be on heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $450.
