Jabba knew it when he woke up…. today was his big day!
All morning he was running around, playing, dancing, and then out of nowhere, the doorbell rang. Jabba knew exactly who it was and why they were here. It was his new family!
Jabba was a wonderful house guest and we’re so happy to see him headed to a family of his own that will spoil him rotten like he deserves.
Happy trails, Jabba!
I was picked up by animal control and I’ve been patiently waiting for my family to find me. I didn’t think it would take long because the town I was in is pretty small. But guess what? No one ever came.
The shelter folks loved me and treated me well They even named me Jabba because they said I reminded them of Jabba the Hutt. I certainly don’t see a resemblance, but with this cherry eye, I can’t see all that well either.
One more thing: I’m having a hard time breathing. I think it’s my palate. More often than not, I’m gasping for air. I also feel under the weather a bit. In fact, the shelter sent some antibiotics for me to take for this cold. Lord, I am just a mess!
But better days are ahead for me and I am super excited to get some medical care.
I am a small little fella with a very sweet personality. I can hardly wait to see Dr. Larsen. She is going to just love me!
5/30/23 Update: We picked up Jabba last week from Dr. Larsen’s and this boy is such a sweetheart. He loves people, he cannot get close enough to you, he will follow you around all day. He’s got a lot of energy, but he also loves to snuggle & his favorite position is flat on his back, so he can get belly rubs. He’s getting along well with the other dogs in the house and is doing great at pottying outside.
