9/2/25 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! From the foster momma: It’s a bittersweet time in the Harvell household. Our beloved Jazzy July officially found her new home. Things are just a little quieter, a little calmer… and yes, a little less jazzy around here.
Jazzy July’s new family is absolutely incredible. Her parents made the trip all the way from Alabama, and the moment they laid eyes on her, they were overcome with emotion — tears of joy, love and instant connection. It was truly something special.
Her new mom and dad are both deaf, and Jazzy July will be trained to respond to hand signals and visual cues. Even more heartwarming, she’ll be visiting nursing homes and the deaf school where her mom works, spreading love, joy and a little Jazzy magic everywhere she goes.
While we’ll miss her more than words can say, we know her future is bright and full of purpose. We couldn’t have asked for a better match.
Congratulations to the McKinney family and to Jazzy July, who is already so deeply loved. 💜

7/27/25 INTRODUCTION: Please welcome Jazzy July to our rescue family! JJ wasn’t actually scheduled to leave her farm the day the rescue wagon rounded the corner. At just 11 months old, she was still considered “needed” there. But Jazzy July had other plans.
Still wearing her harness from that morning’s vet visit, she saw the open door… and bolted. No hesitation, no second thoughts—just pure Bulldog determination. Her eye had been bothering her, and while she feared it might be an ulcer, thankfully it wasn’t. Just some irritation, easily soothed with drops.
But let’s be honest—she wasn’t chasing the rescue van because of eye drops. She saw her best friend, Baby Rose, hopping on board, and that was all she needed to know. If Baby Rose was going to rescue, then it had to be a good place. JJ wasn’t going to be left behind.
So here she is—Jazzy July, full of heart, full of sass, and officially ready to start her new chapter.
She’ll be spayed this week, and then she’ll be on the lookout for a new couch to claim and some fun toys to call her own.
Get ready, world—JJ has arrived. 💫
