Kilo Varga

2/12/26  AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT!
From Kilo Varga:
Dear world,

Greetings. It is I, Kilo Varga, panda Bulldog extraordinaire, professional sunbather and newly adopted legend!

Yesterday, something major happened. Life-changing. Cinematic, honestly.

I was minding my business, contemplating snacks, as one does, when I saw her: my mom.

She was walking toward me, and in that exact moment I knew. Not a “maybe.” Not a “let me sniff about it.” No. This was a full-body, slow-motion, wind-in-the-fur moment.

That was my forever.

You know how humans say, “When you know, you know?”

Yeah. I knew.

She looked at me. I looked at her. I locked in. Selection complete. Paperwork was just a formality.

And then plot twist, I learned I would also be gaining a sister.

Her name is Honey.

Friends… when I tell you this Bulldog has the most incredible eyebrows and eyelashes I have ever seen? I mean architectural. Granted, my experience around other Bulldogs is somewhat limited (I’ve been focused on personal growth), but still iconic.

I am relocating to South Texas, which I understand means:

• Elite sunbathing conditions
• Maximum warm surfaces
• Extended golden hour lounging
• Strategic nap rotations

Frankly, I was built for this climate.

I also hear there will be travel. Work trips. Car rides. Hotels. New smells. Possibly room service (I assume that’s for me). I fully intend to represent this family with dignity and mild chaos.

My goals moving forward:

Increase sunbath duration by 37%.

Perfect the “I was asleep but now I need attention immediately” maneuver.

Bond with my new sis, Honey.

Provide emotional support, comic relief and elite snoring acoustics.

To my mom: thank you for walking toward me yesterday. I felt it before I understood it. Some connections don’t require words. Just eye contact and a shared belief that I belong on your couch.

I am home.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have important sun to absorb and a sister to impress.

With wrinkles and devotion,
Kilo Varga
Forever son, professional panda Bulldog 🐼

1/5/26 INTRODUCTION ~ Please welcome Kilo Varga to our rescue family! Sometimes life takes turns we never expect, and the things we believe will last forever come to an end. That’s what happened to Kilo Varga’s dad.

In a short span of time, he lost his relationship, then his job, and ultimately his home. With nothing left but his truck, he made the heartbreaking decision that living that way was not the life Kilo Varga deserved.

Kilo Varga joined rescue not because he wasn’t loved… but because he was. His dad knew Kilo Varga needed stability, care and opportunities he could no longer provide.

Kilo Varga had been a gift from his girlfriend, the Bulldog puppy he had always dreamed of, and from the very beginning, he was perfect. Cute, funny, and full of joy, Kilo Varga loves everyone and everything. He wasn’t just a dog. He was a best friend.

Kilo Varga will celebrate his 5th birthday on January 21, and he’s truly the whole package. He’s thick, walks beautifully on a leash, knows that potty time happens outside, and even knows how to sit and give a high-five. While his excitement could knock over small children, it comes purely from love. He adores kids and people of all ages.

Kilo Varga will need cherry eye surgery, to be neutered and to have his vaccinations updated. But more than anything, he hopes to spend his birthday with a family who will love him just as deeply as his dad did, and help him start this next chapter.

💙 A heartfelt plea for foster families:
Kilo Varga’s story is just one of many. To continue helping Bulldogs in need, we urgently need more foster families in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Foster homes are the backbone of rescue. Without them, we cannot say yes to dogs who need us. With more volunteers, we can help more dogs like Kilo Varga find safety, healing and hope.

If you’ve ever considered fostering, now is the time. You can change a life. Maybe even two.
