4/17/26 AWESOME ADOPTION ALERT! Koda Noel’s story has always been a special one. He was one of the puppies born to Oreo Noel by emergency C-section, just hours after she entered our care. Later, a DNA test revealed his dad was a German Shepherd, giving Koda Noel his own perfectly unique mix of charm, strength and sweetness.
From his foster momma: All morning long, Koda had that feeling… like something big was about to happen. First came a bath (his favorite, because water = pure joy 💦), and he soaked up every second like the happy boy he is. Then… the waiting game began.
But when foster mom clipped on his collar and leash, Koda knew. This wasn’t just any outing. This was the moment.
And sure enough, the second he met part of his new family, it was game over.
Wiggles? Maximum.
Kisses? Nonstop.
Hearts? Completely stolen on both sides.
It was one of those instant, undeniable connections… the kind you just know is meant to be.
Koda has officially started his next chapter, now going by the very distinguished name Sirius Black “Russ” (yes, as cool as it sounds 😎). He’s headed for a life full of love, attention, and all the happiness he deserves with his amazing new family.
We’ll miss you more than words can say, sweet boy… but our hearts are so full knowing your happily-ever-after has begun. Go shine, Russ.

3/22/26 UPDATE ~ We’re working to find a great family for Koda Noel, one of Oreo Noel’s pups, born into rescue at the end of 2025.
With a Bulldog mom and a German Shepherd dad (according to DNA testing), Koda Noel brings together a truly unique and lovable mix.
This handsome boy is long, thick and built for love. He’s a big fan of water, absolutely obsessed with playing ball and—while we won’t go into details—let’s just say he has a “special talent” for gardening that he’s since been asked to retire from.
In his foster home, Koda Noel is doing great. He’s doing wonderfully with cats, dogs, kids, birds, and even livestock. He’s attentive, eager to please and easy to guide, making him a wonderful companion in the making. Koda Noel loves being close to his people and soaking up all the affection he can get.
When his energy kicks in, his zoomies are pure entertainment, and once he’s had his fun, he’s more than happy to curl up and settle in for a well-earned nap. And did we mention his extra-skin charm? It only adds to his irresistible personality.
Koda Noel is looking for a home ready to embrace puppyhood, continue his socialization and help him grow into the incredible dog he’s meant to be. Could that home be yours?
